Meet Priscilla Asamoah Baffour

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Priscilla Asamoah Baffour. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Priscilla, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?

“My generosity is a legacy of love, passed down from the incredible women who raised me.

My late mother, Hannah Kissiwah Baffour Asamoah, and late grandmother, Oheneba Piesie Ama Juaben Serwaa, were the embodiment of selflessness and compassion.

They opened their hearts and homes to strangers, nourishing both bodies and souls. Their unwavering dedication to helping others instilled in me and my sister, Princess Agyemang Asamoah, the value of empathy and kindness.

Through their examples, I learned that love is a verb, and that generosity is the highest form of human connection.

I strive to honor their memories by continuing their legacy of love and inspiring others to do the same.”

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

“I’m thrilled to share my story as a humanitarian, digital marketer, and social entrepreneur. As Co-Founder of PRIMAD Organisation and CEO of TeensVoice Company, I’m passionate about driving positive change and empowering lives.

At PRIMAD Organisation, I have successfully together with my team, implemented three projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, impacting 3000 lives in rural Ghana. My initiatives – “Make Me Smile Street Children Tour”, “Rural Sexual & Menstrual Health Education”, and “Juaben Serwaa Talent Development Initiative” – have transformed the lives of adolescent girls and rural youth.

As Chief Editor of TeensVoice Magazine, my team and I create educational content that inspires and equips rural students to pursue their dreams. I have donated 1000 TeensVoice magazines to 5 rural schools in Ghana.

My digital marketing expertise focuses on SEO and content creation, amplifying my impact.

My latest endeavor is that PRIMAD Organisation, being founded my Ama Saah, Ama Foriwaah and I, we are building “Sanitary Pad Bank and Talent Development Hub”, to provide free menstrual pads and career development skills in IT, graphic design, web development, and painting to rural youth.

I am dedicated to creating a ripple effect of positive change, adding value to lives, and empowering communities.

Join me in my mission to make a difference!”

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Based on my background as a humanitarian, digital marketer, and social entrepreneur, these three qualities and skills, have been most impactful in my journey:

1. Empathy and Compassion: My ability to understand and relate to the needs of others has driven my humanitarian work and social entrepreneurship.

I have demonstrated a genuine passion for improving lives, particularly in rural Ghana.

Advice for early starters: Cultivate empathy by engaging with diverse perspectives, volunteering, and actively listening to others’ stories.

2. Digital Literacy and Adaptability: My expertise in SEO, and content creation has enabled me to effectively reach and impact my target audience.

Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements has been crucial in my success.

Advice for early starters: Invest in continuous learning, explore online resources, and experiment with new digital tools to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

3. Visionary Leadership and Collaboration:

Being able to envision and execute projects, like the “Sanitary Pad Bank and Talent Development Hub”, demonstrates my strong leadership skills.

Collaborating with my team and partners has been essential in driving impact.

Advice for early starters: Develop your leadership skills by taking on new challenges, building a supportive network, and learning from failures.

Foster collaboration by seeking diverse perspectives and empowering others to take ownership.

These qualities, skills, and areas of knowledge have been instrumental in my success, and by developing them, you can similarly create meaningful impact in your own journeys.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

Currently, I’m facing a challenge that I believe has the potential to transform the lives of thousands of rural girls and youth in Ghana.

I’m working tirelessly with my team to build a Sanitary Pad Bank and Talent Development Hub, a great initiative that aims to provide free menstrual pads and career development skills to those in need.

However, I need support to bring this vision to life. The challenge I’m facing is securing the necessary funds to complete the construction of the hub and sustain its operations.

I’m seeking like-minded individuals and organizations to join me in this mission by providing financial support, expertise, or resources.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these young individuals, empowering them to reach their full potential and break free from the constraints of poverty and lack of opportunities.

Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will bring us closer to creating a brighter future for those who need it most.

Let’s join forces to build a hub that will become a beacon of hope and a symbol of the power of collective impact.

Donate, share, or volunteer today and help us create a lasting change in the lives of rural girls and youth in Ghana.”
