Professor , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose by first understanding the definition of purpose which was my first step. Purpose means the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. I had to understand this in its entirety to understand my purpose in my profession. I have been in this industry for over 11 years and with each day I am realizing that my purpose is changing. It has changed from being a publicist to an entertainment manager to a consultant the list truly goes on but my main purpose is to be an advocate/voice for those who do not have a voice of their own and to be able to help people realize the potential that they have for themselves.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am an entertainment manager and publicist with 11 plus years of experience helping all types of brands reach a particular demographic whether it be by social media, word of mouth, press releases the list goes on. I would say the most exciting part of my job is understanding the story behind the brand that I am helping no matter the brand type. My company TGSEA is all about giving back to businesses/brands in a way that puts their needs first. Currently, I am in the process of writing 2 books one is an e-book that will help businesses and brands with the tools that they need to achieve new clientele. The other book is going to be about the journey which it took me to get to this very moment in my career so be on the lookout for both of those in September 2025

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Communication first, Active listening second, and execution would be third. I learned very early in my career that these three qualities/skills can make or break you in this industry or any industry for that matter they helped me see that for me to be the best that I can be in this industry I have to be able to communicate effectively, understand my clients by listening and executing the task at hand. I would tell people not to go too hard when something doesn’t work the first time.

I am looking for goal seekers to add to my team here at TGSEA. I am looking for people who are not afraid to get their hands dirty and do some groundwork.
