Meet Queen Zina Thrower

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Queen Zina Thrower. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Queen Zina, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

My purpose had been in me all my life, and that was to help other women see that they are worth more than they thought. Some way along the journey called life, I had lost my purpose and myself. One day I showed up to work, just to find out that they were downsizing and letting me go. After giving my all to the company for over eleven years, they were kicking me to the curb. I had climbed the ladder and did what I was instructed to do. On that day the world as I knew it was over. It took me a couple of days to realize that I was unemployed. What do you do when getting up in the morning means nothing to you anymore. For the next twelve years I spent the time dusting myself off and started seeking my purpose. God saved me here for a reason. In 2021 right in the middle of the pandemic I wrote my first book Blessed not Broken vol. 3 The Power of Transformation, to becoming a co-author opened the door for my purpose. I got to share who I was and who I had become. And because the goal of the book was to impact as many women as possible. I realized that this is why God saved me. So, that I can continue the work of helping other women find themselves. I thought that would be it, I can go and sit back down. Nope, knowing that my story was impactful to other women. Now I needed another platform, in 2022 God gave me a divine connection and created “Purpose in Motion Podcast”. Here we spotlight amazing women that all they want to do is impact other women and tell their story. So why not do it with me. In 2023 I became a co-author of my second book Breaking the Silence, The Power of Your Voice on this book I encourage women to speak up for themselves. I believe that God wanted me to be silent, until He was ready to give me my voice. I will never be put back into a box. The journey is still growing. I saw a need for midlife women and pre-retiree women to take control of their finances, so I became a Midlife Financial Coach to help women renovate their personal finances. We all need a new start on the journey to our dreams. Zee Tee Enterprises, Finacial Solutions was birthed. I’m not finished yet. I have another book coming out the summer of 2024. Just know it’s about us Trailblazers.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a Midlife Financial Coach. I assist women in renovating their personal finances. By working with them on how they manage and navigate their finances. We have lived in denial of the truth about money. Money is not your enemy, the lack of wisdom on how to manage money is where the problem lies at. What makes me excited about what I do is, when clients thank me for helping them get clarity and a handle on their money issues. Now they can sleep at night. One of the number one killers of bad money management is financial stress. Stress is a silent killer of your mind, health, and you spirit to name a few. My brand is a faith-based service, I start by walking them though some Godly principles. God never intended for us to owe anybody outside of the necessities of life. We are supposed to be the lenders and the borrowers. I have a new 6-week course coming out this summer, so that we are ready for the holiday’s this year.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Learning, always be open to learning. When you start believing that you know it all, then you will never grow

Trust God, Don’t Rush the Process, Trust the Processor.

Invest in yourself, be willing to invest in your dreams. The investment in yourself is priceless. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I’m looking to collaborate with women who operate in the fields of, Transistional Life, Health and Wellness, Visionary Authors, Mental Health.
