Meet Quince Dais

We recently connected with Quince Dais and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Quince, so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?

I developed my ability to take risk once I realized that’s the only way I’ll be successful. If you want to be a successful entrepreneur you have to take risk. I learned how to take risk from starting my clothing brand. My very first drop for my clothing brand did terrible, but since I took that risk I learned from it and improved ever since. In the moment I took a loss but in the long run it turned into a win real fast. You also have to be open to failure. Failure is not always bad, it’s only bad if you don’t get up and try again!

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a clothing brand owner of the brand MoneyRush. I started it in 2023 and been having fun with it since! What I like the most about my brand is the motivation that it’s spreads. It gives motivation for people to get their life together and stop being lazy! Recently I released our “Hustle” tees to also spread motivation to stay on track in life!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Three skills, qualities or areas of knowledge that were impactful in my journey are consistency, communication and creativity. Those are very important in the process if you want to be successful. Some advice I have for entrepreneurs early in your journey are to be different. Stand out and don’t care what anybody says.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

In the past 12 months my biggest area of growth is my promotion and getting out of my comfort zone. I realized if I wanted to be a brand owner I need to speak up and be heard and be a content creator. 12 months ago it was really hard for me to speak up or even tell people about my brand because I am socially awkward and I have social anxiety really bad. But I overcame it thanks to a few friends who pushed me to do so!
