Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Quinn Arnau. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Quinn, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Confidence and self esteem is something that a person must consistently build. Just like physical health, confidence and self esteem is something that is achieved through consistent efforts over time. Understanding that circumstances are not always ideal and focusing on making the next, best decision helps to keep me on a healthy path. I have found over the years that during times of stress you are often learning the most important lessons. Because not every day can be a sunny one, keeping perspective and practicing gratitude can help you keep a positive outlook which can enable you to help others. If you feel like you are having a bad day a great way to turn things around is to encourage others.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am one half of the top producing real estate team Fischer+Arnau real estate. We are a team affiliated with Ansley Atlanta, Christie’s International Realty. My business partner Michael and I are industry veterans and work to not only serve our clients but also Atlanta area homeowners and our industry.
Our network reaches far beyond the Atlanta area both domestically and internationally. We understand the impact good housing decisions can have on a family and strive to be great listeners and problem solvers.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
First you must listen. It is critical to understand the needs and wants of your clients. After listening, asking clarifying questions and confirming understanding you are then able to build a foundation upon which to build a beneficial client relationship.
Lifelong learning is also important to me. Technology, markets, tastes and tools evolve and change over time and those who pay close attention and continue to build their knowledge are best equipped to create success for their clients.
Community is an element that is very important. Business does not occur in a vacuum, particularly in housing. Making a positive impact in the communities I serve is important to me.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
One of the greatest challenges in real estate in the last few years is the fear, uncertainty and doubt brought about by markets which are moving faster than ever. Todays sellers feel like they missed out on a hot sellers market while concurrently todays buyers often feel as thought they missed the best time to buy due to persistent relatively high prices and interest rates.
Todays Realtor must have a strong understanding and following of economics to explain markets and also an ability to discuss how real property fits into the overall portfolios of buyers and sellers. Housing decisions weigh many factors some subjective and others objective. By helping clients to look at and understand the big picture we are able to instill confidence and build trust which ultimates leads our clients to the best outcomes in a given market.
