Meet Quonda Warner

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Quonda Warner. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Quonda below.

Hi Quonda , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I inherited my work ethic from my father side of the family as well as my mother. Growing up, my family ran a funeral business that still operates today. I remember watching them rise early to meticulously clean the cars for services, ensuring they were spotless. I also saw other family members sweeping and picking up trash around the building, keeping the grounds immaculate. They took great care to ensure that the loved ones entrusted to them looked their best, with every detail handled with excellence. Their hearts were truly in their work. I also witnessed my mother’s dedication—while raising four children, she kept our home so spotless you could literally eat off the floor.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Growing up, my parents instilled the importance of cleaning up after ourselves. We had daily chores, and it never crossed our minds to talk back—we simply did what was expected. As I moved into my teenage years and adulthood, those habits stuck with me. (Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it. – Proverbs 22:6)For me, cleanliness is essential. When things are out of order, it doesn’t feel right, and I perform better when everything is neat and organized. That’s exactly what we offer to our customers—a clean, organized environment to help them function at their best every day.I am the proud owner of Expressions of Kindness Cleaning Service, where we specialize in both residential and commercial cleaning. Our mission is simple: we eliminate mess, reduce stress, and create a germ-free space. We genuinely love what we do. It’s exciting and fulfilling to know that as we refresh spaces, we also bring joy and relief to our clients. Helping others is truly a blessing, and it brings joy to our souls.

Our company is looking to expand globally, have workshops in helping others start there own cleaning company, teach/ train up people to clean effectively and sale cleaning products and other merch. I currently have a book called “Cleaning House from the Inside Out”!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three most important qualities to me that were impactful in my journey are creativity, empathy, and kindness. Creativity allows me to think outside the box and embrace individuality, which helps me stand out. It enables me to create content that reveals truth while also capturing the audience’s attention.Secondly, listening to customers’ needs is essential because it helps me become the solution they’re looking for. Understanding their concerns allows me to meet their expectations effectively.Lastly, showing kindness is crucial, as we never know what someone might be going through. A kind gesture can foster trust and create a sense of safety, building meaningful connections.

The advice I have for others is don’t despise small beginnings. Your dreams/visions don’t happen overnight but it takes work. Keep building , keeping being you every day and you will look back and be amazed how far you have come!

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The Bible has been instrumental in shaping who I am today. Reading the Word, I got to know God for myself and who He has called me to be. He is the one who placed this dream in my heart to make a meaningful impact. The Bible offers many valuable insights, but one of my favorites is Proverbs 16:3: “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” God is the one who will bring the goal (s) to pass.
