Meet Qween Qweezy

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Qween Qweezy . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Qween , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose by experiencing really difficult things in life. I decided that life was too short to not do what I love or what I was passionate about. I first had to discover my purpose and for me I always knew it would be music or something of influence but I resisted. I decided to attend college and get a degree but I always knew that it would be my back up plan, plan B for sure. I can laugh now but it’s been an amazing ride living in purpose.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

In this era of my life I’m learning and exploring the non profit world while still developing as an artist and growing as a woman. One of my goals on this path is to use my influence to help others. In order for me to achieve that I need resources. I’ve been completing community work while collaborating with other mainstream artists. Really tapping in with playmakers and being the change I wish to see

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

My advice would be to take your own advice because only you know what’s best for you and to stay focus and consistent. Knowledge truly is power and there is always more to learn and discover. Believing in myself and trusting God has been the skill/ thing I value the most. Laugh, learn, and be free. Peace of mind is EVERYTHING

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

The secret has by far been the most impactful book. I was introduced to it by my mother in high school. As an adult I use it as a guide. Everything you want is already available it already exists call it to you. Energy does die it just change forms.
