We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rachael Niles. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rachael below.

Hi Rachael, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

After hitting a low point in my life, I was searching in all the wrong places for love, identity and purpose. I had hit rock bottom, and was desperate for change. I knew it was time to rededicate myself back to God, because I had walked away and tried doing life on my own which led to my demise. My passion for Him and His kingdom began to grow as I desired to know of this God who even in the midst of suffering desired to comfort and commune with me. He began to show me that I had to come to the end of myself in order to truly find who I was and what I was created for. I was falling deeply in love with Jesus and I desired for everyone to know who He was and start their own relationship with Him. So many people are battling and struggling with so many things that Jesus desires to walk with them through. As a result, I began to spread the gospel and share my love for Jesus on social media platforms which He quickly allowed to grow for His glory.

By the grace of the Lord, the more I began to surrender my life to Him and realized that I needed to live for Him and Him alone, the more doors began to open. It became clearer through prayer, reading His word and fasting that He wanted me to go out and be His hands and feet. He was calling me to full-time ministry. Ministry is everyday living, whether He has you working in a restaurant, in a school, or the CEO of a big firm, the main goal is to win souls for the kingdom and represent Jesus. I began to learn that true freedom is not based on finances, or even happiness but is found in Jesus. This life that we live now is not the end, we have eternity to think about.

One could say I stumbled into purpose but it was only through seeking the kingdom of God above all things that everything else was added unto my life. My steps were already ordered, and I didn’t need to stress myself out wondering what was next. I realized that it had already been written, and the closer I drew to the author of life, the more things began to make sense. True purpose for me is to continue to fall deeper in love with Jesus and to be a light wherever I go. I was created to love Him and His creation.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Simply put, I spread the gospel wherever the Lord decides to place me. It’s a nonprofit organization, where all funds go right back into the kingdom. My desire is to be a light to those around them, whether they believe in Jesus or not. My hope is to plant seeds for the kingdom of God, and encourage those who may not know the Lord or maybe have wandered away to seek Him for themselves. The Lord as of recently has allowed me to start making music for His glory under the name Rhema Muzic.

The most exciting thing of living this life is the many divine encounters the Lord sets up. It not only shows His sovereignty, but honestly leads to an increase in faith. It reminds me that nothing is a coincidence, and that He truly thinks of everything. I absolutely love being able to build connections with people and actually getting to know them. It truly is a blessing.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

One of the main qualities or areas of knowledge that was super impactful in my journey was and still is FAITH. Faith is the one thing that keeps me grounded. It’s only through faith in who God is that keeps me going especially when the outward circumstances are going against the very things that the Lord said He was going to do. I often ask myself the question – ‘Am I going to believe my situation or circumstance? Or am I going to believe TRUTH which is the word of God?’. I have had to have faith in the word of God that says that EVERYTHING works out for the greater good of those that love God and are called according to His purpose.

Another area of knowledge that has greatly helped me is knowing my identity. Knowing who I am in Christ is so important. One of the areas the Lord has opened up for me as I had previously mentioned is social media and music. If I am not confident in who God says I am, it can be super easy to get lost in the crowd or in comparison. We are all created uniquely and in His image. Wherever God calls us, it’s so important to not lose ourselves in comparison.

Lastly, I have had to remind myself that I am not representing myself, but Jesus. That in itself is an honor. But this has greatly led to me stewarding what I have been blessed with correctly. It’s not just about me, but it’s about Him and His name. So often I hear of people who have walked away from the faith because of hypocrisy, and I refuse to be one who wrongfully represents His name. Instead, I desire to be someone who encourages people to seek Jesus.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

If anyone feels led by the Spirit of the Lord to do ministry of any sort, they can email me at [email protected].
