Meet Racquel Shelby

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Racquel Shelby. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Racquel , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My Father was one to always make it happen for our household. He would have at the least five different streams of income. As I was growing up, he always talked to me about work ethic, integrity, and how I could be anything that I wanted to. I just had to put the work in. So for me, resilience was shown by today. Even now, My father is still out working his businesses and they are extremely successful.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a mother of three teenagers, two fur babies, and a wife. My journey has been a ride. Specs Howard School of Media Arts and Rochester College is where I received my credentials. Specs Howard taught me how to film, edit, and to cultivate a presence for both radio and video. Rochester College is where I received my bachelors degree in Mass Communication Public Relations. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2015, I created the company Rocky Road Productions LLC and a show entitled “Porch Talk”. I filmed this show from my porch discussing various current events. I give much gratitude to Billie T. Thompson, known as Billy T Detroit. I call him Uncle Billy. He is an amazing man, and was the first person that brought me into a radio studio to do a live show that aired on the AM radio here in Detroit.

I went on to collaborate with other talent personalities to do comedy skits, one of which led to freeing a woman from a family of racoons living in her roof. Fox 2 News covered the story and Rose Pest control volunteered to help remove the racoons. I went on to create many shows that featured various dynamic and entertaining personalities. “Love and Success”, Shade & Shenanigans”, “Vitamin D”, and Rants & Robes.

The pandemic is when I shifted gears into my spiritual focus and development. This is what led me to create Racqi Road TV and RACQIROADTV.COM. From this, my current podcast “Candid Stories of MY soul” came about. I truly enjoy this podcast. Candid is a metaphysical focused podcast. It has allowed me to meet and interview some amazing individuals. My guests have abilities and provide services such as Reiki healing, Psychic Mediumship, Tarot readings, QHHT, and more. We discuss who they are, what they offer, and their journey of becoming from childhood to current.

Currently, I am a intuitive reader and I practice psychic mediumship. My company is Divine Intuitive Guidance and I offer spiritual services by utilizing my intuitive abilities. Clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, and divination tools are what I utilize to help those who may need spiritual insight on their current path. Beginning April 24, 2024, I will be offering a Evidential Mediumship & Psychic Abilities Practice Group for all levels of experience and divination tools are welcomed. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
In my case, I will give four major ones. Introspection, accountability, persistence, and being an avid reader were essential to my journey. Reading expands the mind and consciousness. It takes you to places you may not be able to physically go. Exercising your mental by introducing it to many thought forms and perspectives is needed to be able to see the world objectively. Introspection and accountability cultivate self awareness and promotes personal growth. You need to be able to go within to access and observe the knowledge you have gained through various studies and personal experience. This leads to self awareness. Self awareness is what you need to get your internal compass pointing to the right direction. Once you know who you are and tuned in to what you want, you can go after it, Persistence is needed to achieve your desires because many approaches will be needed to cultivate who you are and prepare you for your journey. This has all been true for me. Please know that life isn’t only about reaching the desired destination. Our desired destination is a goal post that gets us moving but, life is about the journey. You want to be present in your journey, learn, grow, move in gratitude, and give back when you can. I don’t think many of us realize that once you reach your destination, the journey ends, and it is time to transition. So, find the beauty in the journey.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I am always looking for those who are on their spiritual journey that are open minded, looking to expand their consciousness, fellowship, and build a community so we can work toward cultivating a better future that we desire to live in. We are here to guide the youth and in many instances they guide us also. We need one another. I would love to interview you on your spiritual journey and you are always welcome to the Evidential Mediumship & Psychic Ability Practice Group.

I also have the Sacred Safe Space Community that I am looking to grow. This is another safe space for like minded individuals who may just want to express themselves in a non-judgmental environment. All of my events and services can be accessed from my website RACQIROADTV.COM
