Meet Rae Love

We recently connected with Rae Love and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Rae, thank you so much for joining us today. There are so many topics we could discuss, but perhaps one of the most relevant is empathy because it’s at the core of great leadership and so we’d love to hear about how you developed your empathy?

I feel that I am a very empathetic person naturally however, when you put yourself in someone else’s shoes you see life differently. I come from a very hard neighborhood where you see people enduring so many opticals. When you witness that, it makes you truly understand that we have to be empathetic to people and there situations. You never know what someone has went through or witnessed.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am a content creator. Growing up I was what one would call dramatic I have a lot of personality. At 38 I decided to try to show my personality through making a video. This all came about through a nasty breakup that lead to my heart being broken. Years of my life down the drain for someone I thought loved me that didn’t choose me in the end. This is when I realized i have one life to live and if this is something I always wanted to do why not do it. I have gained a nice audience eating the food I make while having conversations about various things. I also get out my comedy side while doing various pranks to family members, or simply giving advice on questions my audience may ask.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

My advice for anyone looking to be a content creator or social media influencer is make content that you love and stand by. This way you are proud of your work. Also, do not take on what the “haters or trolls” think. There will always be people who don’t agree with your content or they are just plain mean. The three qualities that were most impactful in my journey was consistency, authenticity, and fun.

I am looking for people to collaborate with. If someone wants to have a good meal and talk about life lessons that would be amazing.
