Meet Raechell Tamaryn

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Raechell Tamaryn. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Raechell below.

Raechell, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

Through all the ups and downs in my life, God has been by my side. I know that it hasn’t been easy, but I’ve also been crafter with a spirit of determination and a bit of stubbornness which helps. I want to have my dreams come true, and I hope they do, so why not keep on trying.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

My name is Raechell Tamaryn, and I am a singer-songwriter and performer who creates music to connect, heal, and empower. Growing up, I was bullied and often felt like I didn’t have a voice. Music became my therapy—it gave me the words I couldn’t always say and became the space where I could truly express myself. Now, I strive to be a voice for the voiceless, using my art to help others feel seen, heard, and understood.

What excites me most about being an artist is the dual impact of music—it’s both an outlet for my own emotions and an opportunity to resonate with others who may be experiencing similar struggles. Whether through raw storytelling, dynamic melodies, or immersive performances, I want my music to create a space where people feel safe to feel.

Right now, I’m working on new music and live performances, and I’m excited to continue expanding my reach. If my songs can make even one person feel less alone, then I know I’m doing what I was meant to do.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, I believe the three most impactful qualities that shaped my journey were resilience, self-awareness, and creativity.
1. Resilience: Growing up, I faced a lot of challenges, including bullying and isolation. Music became my outlet and therapy. Through resilience, I learned not to let those experiences define me but rather fuel my determination to keep pushing forward in my artistic journey.
2. Self-awareness: As I grew older, I started to better understand my values and the type of artist I wanted to be. It’s important to know who you are and what you stand for, especially in the music industry. Understanding my voice allowed me to stay true to my authenticity and connect with others in meaningful ways.
3. Creativity: Creativity isn’t just about producing music—it’s also about problem-solving and thinking outside the box. The ability to express myself through music and lyrics has allowed me to connect with listeners and offer a voice for others who might feel voiceless.

For those just starting, my advice would be:
• Embrace the setbacks: You’ll face challenges, but every setback can teach you something. Learn from them rather than letting them discourage you.
• Stay authentic: In the early stages, it can be tempting to follow trends, but staying true to who you are will help you build an authentic audience.
• Develop your craft: Constantly improve and evolve. Whether it’s refining your technical skills, writing, or learning new tools, the journey is about growth and learning.

Stay patient, and trust your unique path—because no one else can tell your story like you can. You’re a treasure!

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Yes, I’m absolutely open to partnering and collaborating with individuals who share a strong sense of value, creativity, and a deep passion for their craft. I believe that collaboration is all about combining unique talents and perspectives to create something meaningful and impactful. Whether you’re a musician, designer, videographer, or event organizer, if you care about your art and share that vision, I’d love to connect.

Additionally, I’m currently looking for a manager and agent to help take my music career to the next level. If you’re interested in working together, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s create something beautiful and authentic!
