Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Randy A. Waczkowski. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Randy A., thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
I believe that the best way to be effective and successful in any setting is to simply be my genuine authentic self. In my belief in the heart I have grown and a strong belief in God, I can exist in any room and radiate positive energy that passes on to others around me while also serving as an inspiration for others. As I stand, I stand tall, as I shake your hand, I shake it firmly, and as I give a hug, I give it with love.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My business is Name’s Blue Media LLC, a media production company. We focus on creating auditory compositions, distribution of visual productions, and project administration. We provide various services such as broadcast production, professional photography, auditory productions, and community productions. We have great partners that contribute to helping communities and we have launched our Creative Community Initiative to develop and fund courses and programs in Broadcasting to provide scholarships and equipment to high school and college students. We want to encourage a new generation of journalists. In purchasing merchandise from the Creative Community Initiative, you are investing in the future of journalism.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1. Character – Having a great character involves having a sense of integrity, empathy, and resilience. These traits contribute to fostering meaningful relationships, navigating challenges, and maintaining a positive impact on both personal and professional aspects of life itself. It creates a foundation for ethical decision-making. 2. Genuine – Being genuine is crucial for personal development as it fosters authenticity and honest self-expression. When you are genuine, you attract like-minded individuals and build trust, creating a supportive environment for personal growth.
3. Love – Showing love is vital for personal development as it cultivates positive relationships and enhances emotional well-being. Expressing love fosters empathy, understanding, and kindness, creating a supportive social network.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Our business is looking to continue to build community partnerships to continue to tell the story of the people. There are insufficient media outlets that not only connect us as Americans in a positive light but also provide useful local resources here in our local communities. It is critical that we build a sense of belonging and encourage each other as a community instead of as adversaries since it is essential for people to feel supported and encouraged.
