We were lucky to catch up with Rashad Eagleton recently and have shared our conversation below.
Rashad, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence comes from knowing I grew up surrounded by a loving and hardworking family. That is something most people will never know. So when i enter the room, realistically speaking I’m two steps ahead of everyone else.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m the owner of a vegan food truck. I started cooking professionally about 6 years ago and I have been growing ever since.The Most High blessed me with creativity and it will take me many places that I could never imagine. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My most impactful skill is being able to listen and talk to my customers, I make them feel loved and appreciated. Secondly I look at food as an art so the presentation of my food is beautiful. Lastly I take my time and craft my food. The best advice I would give people early in their journey is to be CONSISTENT, eventually It pays off.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Honestly, The Most High has been guiding me this whole time. Building a foundation with God and his son Jesus is the BEST thing I’ve ever done.
