Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rashad Thompson . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rashad, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
I just try to focus on the positive and remind myself of my goals. It’s not always easy, but staying motivated helps me push through the negativity and also by keeping the right people around me, like my family and my team.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
One of the most special things about what I do is just bringing entertainment to people and being a safe space for some and knowing I can be the bright side of someone’s day by uploading a video or going live. That makes me keeps going and motivated whenever I feel like taking a day off or not coming up with ideas for videos or streams.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think it’s important to be resilient, stay motivated, and keep learning. It’s also helpful to seek advice from others in your field who can offer guidance and support.
Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed, I usually try to take a break and do something that I enjoy, like playing call of duty or watching a stream. It’s also helpful for me to write down and prioritize my tasks so that I don’t feel as overwhelmed.
