We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Raul Stefano. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Raul Stefano below.
Hi Raul Stefano, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
This was developed from years of rehearsal’s , it was important to get my 10,000 hours in the studio. It took deep and painfull sacrifice , but was worth it in the end.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
We are currently showing our new song and video Eterno on youtube and all the major digital downloadable music platforms . I enjoy writing the stories used in the Videos . I find this stimulating as an artist to show to the world my art., and connect with people thru my music.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on my journey from drumming as a kid to composing songs, I’d pinpoint three crucial elements that significantly shaped my path: *Versatility in Musical Skills*, *Emotional Authenticity in Performance*, and *Resilience and Adaptability*.
– *Versatility in Musical Skills*: Starting with drums and then mastering guitar broadened my musical vocabulary. This foundation allowed me to seamlessly integrate into bands and eventually craft my own compositions. For emerging artists, I’d advise exploring multiple instruments or aspects of music production. Don’t just stick to one; experiment with beats, melodies, and harmonies. Online tutorials, workshops, and jam sessions can accelerate your learning.
– *Emotional Authenticity in Performance*: Transitioning from playing instruments to singing and songwriting taught me the power of vulnerability. Sharing personal stories and emotions through music resonates deeply with audiences. My tip for newcomers? Be genuine in your art. Write from the heart, and don’t shy away from expressing your true feelings. Connect with your lyrics on a personal level, and your authenticity will shine through, captivating listeners.
– *Resilience and Adaptability*: Music’s a journey of highs and lows. There were gigs where things didn’t go as planned, and rejections that tested my determination. What helped me was embracing every experience as a learning opportunity and staying flexible. For those starting out, build thick skin and an open mind. Expect the unexpected – technical glitches, tough critiques, or slow growth. Use setbacks to refine your craft and approach. Keep pushing forward, and adapt your strategies based on feedback and evolving tastes.
To folks early in their journey, I’d add: stay curious, keep creating, and engage with your community. Music’s not just about performance; it’s about connection and growth. Enjoy the process, and let each step, big or small, fuel your passion and artistry.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
Tom Harney, my manager, has been instrumental in shaping my career trajectory, offering strategic guidance and unwavering support. In the studio, vocal coaches and producers, particularly those immersed in Miami’s vibrant Latin music scene, have significantly enhanced my craft. Their expertise has refined my vocal delivery and enriched my songwriting, blending diverse influences into my unique sound. This collaborative effort has been key to my growth, helping me deliver authentic performances and connect deeply with my audience. 🎤✨
