We were lucky to catch up with Raven Clark recently and have shared our conversation below.
Raven , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I found my purpose by going into my prayer closet to get guidance and instructions from the higher power (God). As I was in my prayer closet prayer I heard God telling me write information down in my journal regarding my purpose. Then, I started brainstorming ideas on how to become an entrepreneur with multiple business. Furthermore, I received confirmation from a Pastor indicating that my purpose was to be an entrepreneur with multiple business, but also a person that heals others mentally and emotionally. As time went by my purpose become more dominant and reality.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m an online women’s boutique owner of Ravie’s House for Fashionistas and a model/ambassador of Higher Art Productions.
Ravie’s House for Fashionistas is set apart of other competitors it’s attracts women’s of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Ravie’s House for Fashionista’s was found Ravie’s House for Fashionistas is very authentic and valued by customer’s. Customer’s always feel beautiful and comfortable in their skin regardless an outfit shows a lot of skin or not. Ravie’s House for Fashionistas the brand catches people’s eye in the room. Customers’ can walk into a room and all eyes are on them because it attracts attention. Ravie’s House for Fashionistas has been featured in 3 fashion shows and at least over 6 Pop up shops. Ravie’s House for Fashionistas is on expansion mode.
Being a model/ambassador of Higher Art Productions brings out excitement, self-esteem, and motivation to be the best version of myself. I have been Higher Art Productions is home based photography company managed by Wade Buckner. I have done at least 5 photoshoots since December 2022. Higher Art Productions will help me expand myself in the modeling industry.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Qualities that were most impactful in my journey is being motivated regardless of how sales or productivity is looking throughout the day. Having passion to dream because I’m the only person that sees my dreams going further. Time Management skills is very important to found business and life balance.
Advice I will have for folks who are early in the journey is to follow your dreams regardless of how big or small it is. Define your purpose and plan of action to keep your business flow steady. in
So far modeling goes be confident, authentic, and take on positive things within.
Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
The biggest area of growth for life for me is self-development. Self-development for me is going to this journey cleanse, unlearn and change my mindset regarding how I feel about myself in general. Self-development for me included decluttering my heart, my mind, and home of things how any longer serve me in my life at this point of time. Self development helped me learn to hold myself accountable of my actions even when it feels uncomfortable. Reaching to the highest level of my authentic self. Self-development came with learning how to use emotional intelligence through life situations whether it’s work, business, or personal.
