Meet Raven Torres

We recently connected with Raven Torres and have shared our conversation below.

Raven , so glad you were able to set aside some time for us today. We’ve always admired not just your journey and success, but also the seemingly high levels of self-discipline that you seem to have mastered and so maybe we can start by chatting about how you developed it or where it comes from?

Self discipline is truly a core value of mine. I played a lot of sports growing up and was a super competitive child at heart so from a young age I understood that discipline could make me better or give me a better chance at winning. As I grew into a young adult I chose to go a more unconventional route as my peers and for me it required a lot of delusion and intrinsic motivation to eventually pursuit the route of entrepreneurship. Self discipline meant doing what I said I would, pursuing my goals. showing up for myself. The older I got, that competitive spirit translated into motivation and drive which helped me develop a new found respect for self discipline. It wasn’t me versus them, or her- it has always been and will be Me vs Me. Self discipline took on a new meaning with age and experience- it meant FREEDOM. People who stay focused and discipline achieved the goal. the status, the reward, the freedom.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a very career and experience driven person. I love being able to combine work and leisure in my line of work. I am a full time personal trainer with my own training space- I have evolved my training company into a brand for women that focuses on empowerment, wellness activities and confidence. My brand is name Rocfit World which provides a home for clients looking to improve their wellness and physical being, we also sell luxury loungewear and activewear to our community really helping women look and feel their best from the inside out. As of 2024, I have expanded my brand further by curating women only events and retreats to help facilitate community, foster connection and embrace healing. I teach a women’s only cannabis integrated deep stretch class, twerk cardio classes, and yoga. My focus for the new year is to expand our community, and create more opportunities to meet with my community in person. As far as our retail and merchandise side of our brand goes, we are always releasing new activewear, joggers, t-shirts, equipment and much more to make fitness accessible and fun to women all over. Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The three most important skills or qualities I believe were the most impactful for me were listening, being adaptive, and having a grand sense of delusion to help you envision it. People have to understand at some point we have to be open and receptive to learning- you can only be a master once you have dedicated time and effort to listening and learning. Being adaptive because anything can. and sometimes will happen. I have had an entire year that felt like the Year of Murphys Law, because it was one horrible thing after another, I had to be optimistic and ready to adjust at any time!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am always to grow and connect with the community and outreach in any way! I am looking to work with impact makers, event curators, and individuals that are looking to expand their energetic networth. I want to be in spaces and with people that want to make things happen, open doors, and that love to enjoy what they do!
