Meet Ray Anderson

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ray Anderson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Ray, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

We all have a purpose and many of us have multiple. Most of us unfortunately go through life without finding it. It’s easy to do. People get trapped in their busy lives. For me life has always been busy. Ever since I was a kid I’ve thought of different inventions & as I got older I knew that I wanted to work for myself. Everything I’ve done has shaped the path for me in one way or another to create “Woof It Up.” My dad was an account for many years in downtown LA, but he didn’t really enjoy what he was doing. He was a hard worker. So many nights I would recall as a kid seeing him at his desk doing all kinds of paper work. Watching how he applied himself to work definitely played a role in finding purpose. There is no direct answer, but some of the things I would do throughout life was to keep a list of all my ideas. Some of the ideas had either been taken already while others my heart just wasn’t into it. During COVID time, I looked at my list, & asked myself out of everything here which would be the most fun to do. Right there I knew starting up “Woof It Up!” would be the most fun & bring joy to people all around.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

All 3 of these play important roles, but looking back determination, resilience, & knowledge all play a role in creating “Woof It Up.” You have to have the power within your own self , & be ready to make many sacrifices . Most importantly is to believe in yourself. My best advise I could give is to stick with the determination, & don’t give up. Make sure to keep telling yourself you can do this . It’s not going to be an easy journey, but it will be unlike one you’ve had before. Remember you have to be willing to take a risk.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

“Woof It Up” is always open minded to collaborate & even possibly partner with in the future.. “Woof It Up” has it’s own line of dehydrated treats with more treats & meals on the way. We are currently working to get them in stores, & would love to discuss with stores out there.
