Meet Rebekah Fedrowitz

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rebekah Fedrowitz. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rebekah below.

Hi Rebekah, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

Like so many women, I struggled with my weight. Only my challenges didn’t begin in midlife — they started in my teens. By the time I was 15, I was already monitoring what I ate, spending hours exercising, and shaping my habits around keeping my body in check.

For a while, it worked. But underneath the surface, something wasn’t right. I had what most would consider minor health issues — allergies, chronic sinus infections, reflux — the kind of things you treat, manage, and move on from. But those symptoms were early signs of a deeper imbalance, and eventually, that imbalance made my weight harder to control, no matter how strict or disciplined I was.

I followed the diet rules. I sought help from doctors and nutritionists, and every time, I was told the same thing: “Everything looks normal. Just keep doing what you’re doing.” So I did. I counted every calorie. I exercised more. And eventually, the effort consumed my life. Even then, the results were unstable — the more I tried to control my body, the less it seemed to cooperate.

By the time I was out of college and working full time, I was exhausted. I was managing my weight — technically — but only through an unsustainable amount of effort. And even with that effort, I was dealing with hormone issues, headaches, and an undercurrent of fatigue that no one could explain.

At that point, I picked up what I assumed would be just another diet book. But instead of offering another rigid plan to follow, it introduced me to an entirely different approach — one that focused on my whole health and how I could support that in a way that was right for me. That perspective changed everything. For the first time, my body started to respond. It didn’t fix everything, but it did introduce me to a completely new way to view my weight and my health.

Through more research and study, I learned more and more about natural health, and eventually I went back to school to study holistic nutrition and pursue a career in functional health. The more I learned, the more clear it became: women like me weren’t being supported — they were being overlooked. Doing everything right, getting nowhere, and still being told their symptoms were fine, their labs were normal, and their struggles were just part of being a woman. I wanted to change that. I wanted to help women finally see the full picture of what’s happening in their bodies — and give them the tools to actually feel well, not just get by.

What started as a personal search for answers has grown into a mission to redefine what women are told is possible. I’m not here to help women cope — I’m here to challenge the system that tells them to settle. I’ve lived the gap between what’s “normal” and what’s real. And now, I help women close that gap — so they can stop chasing health, and finally experience it.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m a board-certified holistic nutritionist and the founder of Santé Vie, a functional wellness practice built to offer the kind of comprehensive, personalized support I wish I’d had when I was trying to figure out my own health.

What makes our work different is how we bring structure and clarity to what often feels like chaos. Many of our clients have already tried it all — restrictive diets, supplements, medications, online advice, and more — and yet they’re still stuck. We help them understand what’s actually driving their symptoms and build a focused, strategic plan for real, lasting change. We work with clients around the world through one-on-one consulting and group programs, including our newest offering: The Nourished Plan, a healthy meal planning membership.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Tenacity, curiosity, and discernment have shaped everything about how I work and what I’ve built.

Tenacity kept me moving when things were unclear or uphill — whether that was in navigating my own health, building a business from scratch, or challenging systems that weren’t working. There’s no perfect path forward, so you have to be willing to keep showing up and figuring it out as you go.

Curiosity is what pushed me to ask better questions — of my body, of the health information I was being given, and of the way things are “supposed” to be done in this field. It’s also what’s kept my work evolving. The deeper I’ve gone into functional wellness, the more I’ve realized how much is still left to explore.

Discernment is the filter that holds it all together. There’s a constant flood of opinions, protocols, trends, and advice — especially in the wellness space. Discernment is what helps me cut through the noise, stay focused, and make decisions that actually align with my values and goals.

If you’re early in your journey, don’t wait until you feel fully ready or confident — start by getting curious. Learn to think for yourself. And keep going when it gets messy. Most of what’s worth building doesn’t come with a manual.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

I love working with people who are done chasing band-aid solutions and genuinely want to feel better — not just for a moment, but for the long term. They’re looking for someone who listens, understands the full picture of their health, and can help them connect the dots. They’re open to learning, willing to dig deeper, and committed to doing the work — not perfectly, but consistently.
