Meet Reea Rodney

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Reea Rodney. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Reea below.

Hi Reea, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
In a time of transition, I found myself questioning my path despite achieving many goals. One evening, a quote stirred something within: “Your purpose in life is to find your purpose and give your whole heart and soul to it.” This sparked deep reflection.

Seeking clarity, I turned to God and engaged in conversations with mentors. Reflecting on moments of fulfillment revealed a passion for uplifting others, guiding them through challenges, and helping them discover their potential.

Clarity came gradually, like rays of sunlight after a storm. God’s guidance led me to write for healing, promising future books for others. This ignited a profound sense of purpose and joy. It wasn’t just about publishing a book; it was about empowering others to share their stories and make an impact.

Each coaching session felt like a step toward understanding my purpose. I realized it wasn’t just about personal success but guiding others to their victories, being a beacon of support, and helping them birth their visions.

Through this journey, I learned that purpose is a continuous unfolding of passions and contributions. Today, as a life coach, mentor, and publisher, I’m driven by the belief that my purpose is to empower others to unlock their potential and share their triumphs.

Finding my purpose wasn’t a sudden epiphany but a gradual unveiling, guided by the whispers of my heart. In this process, I found not just a career but a calling—a path illuminated by the desire to make a difference in the lives of those I serve.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am thrilled to share more about my work as a self-publishing consultant and book coach, especially the exciting opportunity I’m currently offering through The Thought Anthology Program.

In my role, I work with a diverse range of professionals—leaders, entrepreneurs, business owners, coaches, speakers, and more. My mission is to help them not only write and publish a book that reflects their brand and expertise but also to discover their deeper purpose. I believe that when we align our words with our purpose, we can make a profound impact, find success in our endeavors, and create multiple streams of income through our written work.

In addition, I have a group program “The Thought Anthology Program” which is a 12-week journey where dynamic professional women and individuals from various fields come together to co-author a book. This book isn’t just any publication; it’s a showcase of our professional endeavors, skills, passions, and expertise. By participating, individuals become bestselling authors, gaining valuable coaching on how to leverage and monetize their book for additional income, expert recognition, and increased visibility.

Our program is designed to empower participants with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. This includes the Leverage and Monetize Your Book Masterclass Training, among other resources. I’m truly excited about the potential for growth, impact, and empowerment that this program offers to those who join us.

If you’re a dynamic professional woman, business owner, entrepreneur, non-profit owner, coach, speaker, or someone with a story to share, I invite you to embark on this transformative journey with us. Let’s write our stories together, amplify our voices, and create a lasting impact through the power of words.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on my journey, three qualities, skills, and areas of knowledge stand out as most impactful:

1. Faith and Spiritual Connection: My unwavering faith and spiritual connection have been foundational in guiding my path. Trusting in a higher purpose, seeking guidance, and listening to my inner voice has provided clarity and strength. For those early in their journey, I advise cultivating a practice of introspection, prayer, meditation, or whatever resonates with their beliefs. This connection can offer profound insights, resilience, and a sense of purpose.

2. Empathy and Intuition: The ability to empathize with others and trust my intuition has been crucial in my work as a coach and mentor. Understanding the struggles of others, being able to see beyond the surface, and intuitively guiding them has deepened connections and facilitated growth. I recommend early journeyers to practice active listening, empathy, and honing their intuitive skills. These qualities can foster deeper relationships and help navigate challenges.

3. Continuous Learning and Adaptability: In the ever-evolving fields of publishing and coaching, being open to learning and adapting has been essential. Staying curious, seeking new knowledge, and being willing to pivot strategies has allowed me to grow personally and professionally. I suggest those starting out to embrace a mindset of lifelong learning. Attend workshops, read books, engage with mentors, and be open to new ideas. This adaptability can lead to innovation and success.

My advice for those early in their journey is to embrace these qualities:

Trust Your Journey: Trust that your path is unique and unfolds in its own time. Embrace the ups and downs, knowing they all contribute to your growth.

Stay Authentic: Your authenticity is your superpower. Don’t try to emulate others; instead, focus on being true to yourself and your values.

Seek Mentorship: Surround yourself with mentors and peers who inspire and challenge you. Learn from their experiences and insights.

Take Action: Dream big, but also take consistent action towards your goals. Break down daunting tasks into smaller steps and celebrate each achievement.

Embrace Failure as Growth: Understand that failures are opportunities for learning and growth. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes; they often lead to the most significant discoveries.

Nurture Resilience: The journey will have its challenges. Cultivate resilience by practicing selfcare, maintaining a positive mindset, and seeking support when needed.

Lastly, remember, every step forward, no matter how small, is progress on your unique path. Embrace the journey, stay true to yourself, and keep moving forward with faith and determination.
