We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Reesie Franklin. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Reesie below.
Reesie, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I developed a strong sense of self-esteem at a young age, influenced by a lineage rooted in beauty and self-assurance. As I grew older, that self-esteem evolved into true confidence. I learned that confidence comes from being intentional and certain in what you do, which is why I approach everything with purpose. Some might call it perfectionism. I see it as pride in excellence.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m a beauty professional and entrepreneur specializing in waxing and brows. With a focus on creating an elevated, confidence-centered experience. What excites me most about my work is the transformation. Waxing isn’t just about grooming, it’s about care, intention, and how someone feels when they leave my space.
My brand is rooted in soft luxury: thoughtful details, calm aesthetics, and a refined approach to beauty that feels personal and empowering. I’m currently introducing new services as the brand quietly evolves and is preparing for an expansion. This expansion/collab will bring a new name , more faces , and services.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, the three things that shaped my journey the most were intention, consistency, and trusting myself. Learning to be intentional helped me move with clarity and confidence, while consistency taught me that even small, steady steps add up over time. Trusting myself allowed me to stay true to my vision, even when I didn’t have everything figured out yet.
For anyone early in their journey, my advice is to be gentle with yourself. Focus on learning and perfecting your craft, stay consistent even when progress feels slow, and trust that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Growth takes time, and allowing yourself space to evolve makes the journey so much more rewarding.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m always open to collaborations that elevate the beauty and wellness experience. I love partnering with fellow beauty professionals, aestheticians, and brands that share a commitment to quality, care, and confidence. Whether it’s a creative project, a new service, or a special event, I’m drawn to collaborations that feel intentional and inspiring.
If you’re interested in connecting, the best way to reach me is through my website, social media, or email. I’m always excited to explore opportunities that bring beauty and empowerment to life.
