Meet Regiina (Reggie) Hibbard

We recently connected with Regiina (Reggie) Hibbard and have shared our conversation below.

Regiina (Reggie), we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I talked to people, keeping making products till I was happy with the product. Having clients try the soap to see what they liked or disliked about the soap.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
In 2016, My husband and I bought a goat for milking. It turned out that we needed two goats. Coconut & Celebration were the first of the heard. Then they had babies. We started milking the goats. Our farm is called Alpine Drip-in Udders Farm. Each goat has their own personality. We love them all. I do have 3 that is my favorites.

My sister-in-law came to visit me. She made homemade soap. So, we tried using goat milk instead of water. I worked on the quality of soap that I wanted people to use. I use the cold process method. I use 4 different oils and 2 butters in my soap. I use essential oils or fragrance oils. I let my soap cure longer, so it is a harder soap. My soap has a good lather and nice creamy.

After, started making soap, I sold to family, and they loved it. Their friends wanted to buy some. I was so excited that everyone loved my soap. I started a business, Goat Milk Soap by Reggie and started going to markets. I have over 15 kinds of soap and I offer goat milk lotion and sugar scrubs and body butter.

Goat milk soap is best- known for its nourishing properties. Goat milk is full of nourishing vitamins that is helpful to your skin. It has vitamins, A, B1, B6, B12, C, D, and E. It is high in naturally occurring enzymes and proteins. It has reputation for having natural antimicrobial properties for being good for Acne. It good for difficult skin conditions such as Psoriasis and Eczema.

I hope everyone enjoys my goat milk soap.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I learn a lot about the goats and their milk. I studied on what ingredients would be good for the clients that I wanted to sell to. I take pride in my soap products. I joined a soap group on face book and learned a lot from them. Everyone makes their soap differently. I make my soap with quality products. I really enjoy making my soap.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am looking to have my soap in stores. I am also looking to have my products in a bed and breakfast place that their clients will enjoy using my products. I would love to make up baskets for realtors to give their clients as welcome gift. If anyone is interested with my products, please call me or text at 904-806-6488.
