We were lucky to catch up with Relentless Jay recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Relentless , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I think my resilience comes from having to overcome many challenges, setbacks, and adversity throughout my life. I feel everything I have overcome has made me who I am today. There are often times when I it seems everything goes wrong and I can’t catch a break, these are the times I remind myself that I have a purpose and mission to complete.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am Relentless Jay, and I write, produce and record my own music which is released on over 400 major platforms worldwide and I also design my own artwork for my singles and projects as well as the official merchandise, Relentless Hustle. The most exciting part for me, is the feeling and idea of being able to shift, mold, or even create culture through music, art, and fashion. I plan releasing music consistently this year and dropping merch along with. I have a project, dropping on Valentines’ Day; entitled, “From My Heart, To Yours”. I know my fans and followers are going to love it!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I think ambition, confidence, and determination are the most important qualities I possess that have helped me along my journey. Never once thought about giving up despite several setbacks and difficult times.

What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?

I feel like it is great to be well rounded by investing in effort improving on areas one may not be strong in. I feel you should always keep growing and never stop growing. In my everyday life, I am always seeking knowledge and striving to improve.
