Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Renata Hromadkova. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Renata , thanks for taking the time to share your lessons with our community today. So, let’s jump right in – one of the most essential skills for unlocking our potential is self-discipline. Where does your self-discipline come from?
It is very much a spontaneous, right here and right now connection between mind and ability.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Working with local urban wood, every piece is different and has its own unique character, grains, features and story. I look at the raw piece of wood and ask “what you would like to become?” I let to unfold it itself. Each design begins with chains saw and very often I am personally present on the site where the tree is removed. I like also the educational part of our art project where we can help public to understand deeper the connection between urban forest, trees and our daily life in the cities.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Hassle every day and delegate, always strive for more.
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
The buyer landscape is changing, there is a huge growth in the people’s understanding of handmade objects. Buyers are increasingly connected to the maker; theirs intention and spirit which resonates with them way beyond simple aesthetics. For as long as the world turns as there is the human integrity, hands and minds will always pick up a tool to create.
