Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Reuel-Azriel®. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Reuel-Azriel®, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I developed my self-confidence by focusing on my inner qualities and values, rather than solely on external factors such as physical appearance. I place a special concentration on the emphasis of building security around my inner identity as it relates to my placement on this earth as a unique individual within humanity.
Conversely, being in solitude has emphasized the importance of self-awareness and self-acceptance, and therefore through careful reflection and scrutinization of my behavioral patterns I emphasized that true confidence comes from within.
The importance of positive self-talk and affirmations, as well as setting goals and taking action towards achieving them. I recognized that failure and setbacks are a natural part of the journey towards building self-confidence, and I encourage readers to embrace and learn from these experiences rather than being discouraged by them.
Overall, it seems that the development of my self-confidence came by working on my inner self, cultivating a positive mindset, and taking action towards my goals. Although, confidence is a quality that is essential to our well-being and success. It further helps us to navigate the world with clarity and purpose, and allows us to pursue our goals with conviction, and to connect with others in meaningful ways. But despite its importance, confidence is often elusive and hard to define.
In my book, Be Magnetic! The Attractiveness of Confidence, I carefully dispel some key formulas for achieving a level of confidence and assurance in one’s self: “Happiness from within is the key to confidence. Those who exude confidence find joy and fulfillment in their own achievements, rather than seeking validation from others. They understand that external opinions do not define their worth and strive to find contentment within themselves. In order to be truly confident in ourselves and our actions, it is essential to cultivate a sense of happiness that comes from within.”
“Confidence is not about being arrogant or boastful, but rather about being self-assured, self-possessed, and comfortable in your own skin.”
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Hi, I’m Reuel-Azriel, but you may know me by my stage name “Carta Yisraeli.” As an American Jewish entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist, I wear many hats in different industries.

I’m also the sole owner of The Lé Flore Group, a holding company with diverse brands and interests such as entertainment, media, hospitality and food service, fashion, marketing, and music.
In addition to my business ventures, I’m the CEO of Skinvious-A Zilevo Health & Beauty company, Robere Chrétien a fashion lifestyle company that I founded. My multifaceted career has allowed me to make an impact in various industries and gain recognition as a notable figure. I’m always seeking new opportunities to challenge myself and pursue my passions.
As an author, I’m passionate about bringing diversity to Jewish literature and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Jewish community. My latest children’s book, “Moeshe Rue’s First Hanukkah,” offers a unique perspective on the holiday by incorporating the traditions and practices of Jews of color from different ethnicities. Through my writing, I aim to educate and inspire young readers about the diverse Jewish cultures around the world.
What I find most exciting and special about my work is the opportunity to create inclusive and engaging stories that resonate with readers of all backgrounds. I firmly believe that every child should see themselves represented in the books they read, and I’m committed to using literature to bridge cultural divides and promote understanding.
As an accomplished author and entrepreneur, I’m always exploring new avenues to share my message with the world. Currently, I’m working on several exciting projects, including a new book series that celebrates the unique experiences of Jewish children from around the world. Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on my journey, I believe that three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful include strategic thinking, leadership and talent development, and attention to detail.
In terms of strategic thinking, it is important to have a creative mind for deal structuring and writing contracts, especially in the music industry. I would advise those early in their journey to hone their skills in this area by staying up to date on industry trends, networking with professionals, and continuously seeking opportunities to learn and develop their knowledge.
As a strong leader and talent developer, it is important to have a clear vision and direction for the individuals you are working with. My advice for those starting out would be to focus on developing relationships with talented individuals and providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed. This can involve investing time and energy into their personal and professional development, as well as providing guidance and mentorship along the way.
Finally, attention to detail is crucial for accurate deal modeling and ensuring that all aspects of a project or business are running smoothly. To improve in this area, I suggest practicing mindfulness and developing habits to improve your focus and attention. This can include techniques such as meditation or simply setting aside dedicated time each day to focus on important tasks.
Overall, my Master of Arts in Business Leadership & Management has been instrumental in my success. It has equipped me with the skills necessary to master the study of human behavior in any business environment, as well as evaluate common workplace issues and assess an organization’s legal needs. I would encourage those starting out on their journey to pursue education and continuous learning, as it is essential for personal and professional growth.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Oprah Winfrey has been one of the most helpful mentors to me in terms of building and developing the essential skills, qualities, or knowledge I needed to be successful. When I was a student at The Piney Woods School, Oprah told me that creating a name for myself and branding myself was crucial for success. She also advised me to read as much as I could. These words stuck with me and became the foundation of my journey.
In addition to Oprah’s advice, I have also received valuable advice from my peers and mentors in the industry. One of the most impactful pieces of advice I have received is to stay focused on my goals, regardless of failures or what others may say. Another important piece of advice is to become organized and make the best use of my time. Finally, I have learned to be creative and never be afraid to fail, as it is often the path to success.
You may come to know him as, Jack Le Flore, the notable Vice President of Sales at Jostens Jewelry Company, was integral in building the company into what it is today. He was responsible for designing and distributing class rings and sorority and fraternity pendants, with a particular focus on class rings, and sorority and fraternity pendants. He was also the official Fraternal Jeweler of Kappa Alpha Psi and Chairman of Knoxville College. With a Doctorate of Law and lifetime membership in the NAACP, Jack Le Flore was a remarkable figure who made significant contributions to both the jewelry industry and the African American community and the HBCU newtork of colleagues, peers, family and friends.
I am proud to call him “pops” and grateful for the lessons he taught me. He always emphasized the importance of education and investing in oneself. He taught me to guard what I learned and to use it to build something of value. Thanks to his guidance and wisdom, I have been able to develop the skills and knowledge I need to succeed in my own career.
He overly emphasized the importance of hard work, determination, and persistence in achieving success. He taught me to set clear goals and to take consistent action towards achieving them. He also instilled in me the value of education and the need to constantly learn and improve my skills. His reoccurring mantras, “The more you learn, the more you earn, constantly educate yourself”., and “money makes money off of money save and invest”. Pops believed that one should always be open to new opportunities also and therefore it was a command to immerse oneself in the journey of travel and to make experiences, and to never be afraid to take risks or make mistakes. His advice has been invaluable to me in building my own career, and I am grateful for the lessons he taught me.
