Meet Rhett Scheurn

We were lucky to catch up with Rhett Scheurn recently and have shared our conversation below.

Rhett, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

Family

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Really simply put I’m a family guy. I’m a dad and I love to create content for other families to help them with their daily lives. I have a wife and three beautiful children who are only 3 1/2 years apart. I am a social media influencer and I’ve been doing it full-time for 2 1/2 years now. I have been able to quit a full-time job and pursue entrepreneurship by making my own hours and scheduling everything while earning up to double figures for a month it’s truly a blessing and I’m super thankful for what I get to do and I get to spend time with my family.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Desire, persistence, and patience. The most advice I can get to people who are in their early journeys, so just be patient, but also work hard and just know that success isn’t gonna come the next day. It takes time you may hit the jackpot and it may come sooner than others, but I promise you will take some time as very important to be patient in your endeavors.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

This without a doubt is my dad. My dad has been in the car dealership business for over 46 years and started from the bottom and eventually made his way to a general manager of his own Hyundai store. He would go to work at 5 o’clock in the morning, sometimes not get off till 9 PM at night and the ACD get home early. He was outside working in the yard and doing yardwork around the house, he is by far the person who inspired me to who I am and to achieve what I have
