We recently connected with Rhonda Botros and have shared our conversation below.
Rhonda, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
For me, travel has always been more than just seeing new places—it’s been about connection. The more I explored the world, the more I realized how deeply interconnected we all are, despite our different languages, foods, and customs. Everywhere I went, I met people with the same fundamental needs: love, community, joy, clean water, and the desire to create a meaningful life. That realization shaped the foundation of InBliss Travel.
I wanted to offer more than just trips—I wanted to create experiences that allow people to truly immerse themselves in different cultures, connect with locals, and build lifelong friendships with fellow travelers. Through leading group trips, I saw firsthand how travel can transform people’s perspectives, just as it had transformed mine.
The apparel side of my business (InBliss Collection) came naturally from these travels. Along the way, I met incredible artisans—people who poured their hearts into creating beautiful pieces. Their craftsmanship was not only stunning but also told a story of tradition, passion, and resilience. I knew I wanted to support them, not by just “sourcing” their work, but by collaborating with them to bring unique designs to life. Each piece in my collection represents a relationship, a story, and a piece of a culture that I’ve had the privilege to experience firsthand.
Ultimately, my purpose in both travel and apparel is about connection—connecting people to new cultures, to the artisans behind what they wear, and to each other. It’s about creating meaningful experiences and supporting communities in a way that is mutually enriching. That’s what InBliss is all about.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
InBliss Travel is more than just a travel agency—it’s a bridge between cultures, a way to connect people through immersive experiences and handcrafted apparel. I lead group trips that go beyond the typical tourist experience, blending adventure with local connections. Whether it’s exploring the pyramids of Egypt or wandering through the markets of Morocco, my goal is to help travelers experience the heart and soul of each destination.
Beyond travel, InBliss is also a curated collection of unique, handcrafted apparel and accessories. Every piece is created in collaboration with artisans from around the world—beautiful Indian silk dresses, Moroccan-made bags, and jewelry infused with stories from my travels. What makes this special is that every item carries a piece of its maker’s culture, tradition, and artistry. These aren’t just products; they’re meaningful connections to the world.
I’m excited to share that InBliss Travel has a permanent booth at the Nashville Farmers Market, where you can shop our one-of-a-kind apparel and accessories in person. We’re also expanding into online sales, making it easier for people to shop from anywhere. Looking ahead, we plan to have our items available in boutiques across Nashville and surrounding areas, so stay tuned!
At the heart of it all, my mission remains the same—to create unforgettable experiences through travel and fashion, while supporting and uplifting the artisans who bring these visions to life. Whether you’re looking to book your next adventure or find a statement piece with a story, InBliss Travel is here to connect you to something truly special.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, three key qualities have been instrumental in building InBliss Travel: adaptability, relationship-building, and resilience.
Adaptability has been crucial—travel, business, and life rarely go as planned. Whether it’s navigating last-minute itinerary changes, supply chain delays, or pivoting my business model, being flexible has helped me move forward. My advice? Embrace the unexpected. Challenges are inevitable, but how you respond to them will define your success.
Relationship-building has been at the heart of everything I do. My business thrives on genuine connections—with artisans abroad, my travel clients, and my local customers. The best opportunities have come from trust and mutual support. Prioritize relationships over transactions, listen more than you speak, and always look for ways to uplift others.
Resilience has kept me going through setbacks, slow sales days, and moments of doubt. If you’re just starting out, remember that success doesn’t happen overnight. Stay consistent, push through the hard days, and remind yourself why you started in the first place. Passion gets you started, but resilience keeps you moving.
Advice for people early in their journey: You don’t have to have everything figured out from day one—learning as you go is part of the process. Surround yourself with the right people, whether it’s mentors, fellow business owners, or creatives who inspire you. Most importantly, take action. Perfectionism can be paralyzing, so start before you feel “ready” and adjust along the way. If you stay adaptable, build strong relationships, and remain resilient, you’ll create something truly impactful.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Absolutely! I’m always looking to collaborate with like-minded people who share a passion for travel, culture, and unique, handcrafted goods. Whether you’re a boutique owner interested in carrying our apparel, a local business looking to host a pop-up, or a creative who wants to partner on a project, I’d love to connect.
I’m especially looking for boutiques in Nashville and surrounding areas that align with InBliss Travel’s mission—carrying unique, globally inspired pieces with a story. I also welcome partnerships with other travel professionals, content creators, and artisans who want to bring something fresh to the table.
