Meet Ricardo Leveron

We recently connected with Ricardo Leveron and have shared our conversation below.

Ricardo, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I think a big part of my confidence comes from my childhood & I could only thank my mom for. Growing up I always felt like I was different in many ways, but I remember my mom telling me at a very young age that I was meant to do big things in life & that my biggest asset was always going to be my mindset & the way I present myself to the world. I believe it is very important for parents to make their kids feel special in a positive way. There is no reason why your kids shouldn’t feel like they’re the superheroes in their own movies. There are so many reason why I could be insecure now & sometimes I am, but I don’t think it should be the highlight of my day. I focus on the good things I have, I provide & I am doing. Your confidence is built by positive experiences, not only how you look, doing well on challenges, etc but also being a good person to others, since also that lets you contribute to the life of others.

How do you build confidence? Take notice of experiences or thoughts that increase or decrease your self-confidence or self-esteem. Always identify your strengths, abilities & achievements. Be honest & include everything you’re proud of, no matter how small. Think about what they mean to you & why they’re important to you… But never forget top genuinely be a good human to others but especially to yourself. Never forget to be kind to yourself!

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a Realtor in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am very passionate about helping others achieve their dreams & I enjoy being that superhero to my first-time home buyers. I love what I do because it brings value to my communities & allows me to educate the people that I encounter in my career in more ways than one, at the same time I help them change their lives positively.

In my career I have also met very interesting people that I admire & I find many different examples of how I would like to design my future & how to live my life, as well as many bad examples that I wish not to follow. Haha.

Real Estate has educated me on many areas of my life, not only about houses but personal growth & business ownership, as well as working with people of different backgrounds that not necessarily think like I do. I have learnt that our differences sometimes bring us even closer sometimes.

New events? Hmmm… You will have to follow me on social media to keep up with my surprises ha!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think leadership is the best skill I’ve learn. I love being a leader & helping anyone learn the best ways of doing things with kindness, and how if benefits themselves & others.

The negotiations is something I never saw my self doing along with the power of persuasion in sales… I never thought I would be in the sales world & now I am a sharp negotiator & it might be one of my favorite parts of the home selling process. You just need to find their motivations & help them learn the reason why your offer is beneficial for everyone involved.

Being a good listener was hard to learn, but as I get older I realize how important it is to listen & let the others express their feelings, concerns, questions, needs, etc. It gives me leverage to listen & helps me deliver; rather than assuming that I know exactly how things will go or that I know what. is best for the other party. Sometimes what you think is good for others is not necessarily what they really want for them, and that is okay.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
Definitely the “Secrets of a Millionaire Mind” by T. Hav Eker is the book that changed my life. I was a waiter at a diner & became good friends with their accountant that often would stop for a cup of coffee & talk to me about life. I asked him about managing my money & how could I save it & grow my savings account. He thought that money is not meant to be saved but to be multiplied, so he recommended this book because he believed I would benefit from it, & oh boy was he right! I started reading it & it talks about wealth & our relationship with money, I learnt so much! Very shortly after I finished reading it I started my real estate classes and became a realtor… The rest is history!
