We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rishika Agarwal. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rishika below.
Rishika , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
By learning to believe in myself—my voice, my skills, and my personality.
It took time, but I realized that confidence isn’t something you wait for; it’s something you build by backing yourself, especially when it would be easier to shrink. I stopped comparing myself to others when I understood that just like all five fingers are different, so is every human being. We’re not meant to fit the same mold and that’s where our power lies.
I started focusing inward: trusting my journey, showing up with authenticity, and letting my individuality be the reason I stand out. That shift from comparison to self-acceptance is what truly shaped my confidence.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m the founder of Seattle Collective: a one-of-a-kind social community that brings people together through intentional, creative, and inclusive events across Washington. Our events are open to all ages and genders (unless specifically designed as women or girls only), and each month features something new. From wellness sessions, workshops, dance and art classes, social meetups, and interactive games to themed girlie get-togethers, our events are designed to inspire connection, creativity, and collaboration. We provide a platform for professionals, small business owners, and creatives to showcase their work, connect with others, and grow in a supportive space by collaborating in an event.
Outside of Seattle Collective, I’m a Washington-based travel and lifestyle content creator. I love exploring local gems – from restaurants to nature escapes and sharing them with my audience.
Whether through digital content or in-person events, my mission is to support local businesses, highlight the beauty of this region, and create spaces where people feel seen and celebrated. I’m currently focused on expanding Seattle Collective’s reach, creating even more opportunities for people to have fun, express themselves, and build lasting connections.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Consistency taught me that progress is often quiet – it’s in the late nights planning events, the content that doesn’t go viral but still connects, and the small details that make a big difference. For anyone starting out, I’d say – keep showing up even when results take time.
Relationship building has been the heart of everything I do whether it’s through Seattle Collective or my content. Genuine connection will always take you further than surface level networking. Be curious, be kind, and invest in people without expecting anything in return.
And finally, adaptability. Things rarely go exactly as planned – events shift, content trends evolve, people change. Being able to adjust without losing your core vision is what keeps things sustainable.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes, always! Collaboration is truly at the heart of what I do. Seattle Collective is built to be a space where creatives, business owners, and community members could come together to share their talents, passions, and work in a meaningful way.
I’m looking to connect with creatives, businesses, creators, local brands, workshop leaders, venue hosts, and anyone who believes in the power of community. Whether it’s co-hosting an event, leading a workshop, showcasing your product or service, or even cross-promoting through social media; there are so many ways we can work together to create something impactful.
