Meet Rob Crozier

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rob Crozier. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Rob, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I get my work ethic from my father. Watching him lace up his boots every morning to go to work and provide for our family taught me at an early age that it’s important to be a hard worker.

He also taught me work ethic through sports. As my youth football coach, he demanded hustle, effort and consistency. He also demanded this from me in the other sports I played growing up.

I also learned work ethic from having three older siblings that were successful in their post high school endeavors. My siblings and I learned from our parents that in order to achieve success, you must have work ethic.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m focused on covering exceptionality in sport and promoting the futures of local athletes. As a Philadelphia tri-state area sports social media entity, I do my best to provide regional coverage while highlighting athletes that are excelling in sport.

The professional sports market dominates the social media landscape. At Crozier Media, I believe that the high school and college market are just as valuable. I find it exciting to create a graphic for a freshman high school athlete who’s dominating the competition. I find it exciting to reshare stories of a Division III baseball coach who has earned three national titles.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Fear of failure, the willingness to compliment others and attention to detail gave rise to Crozier Media.

Passion. It’s the first ingredient for success. You gotta love what you do. Then you must have goals. What exactly is your mission and what are you trying to accomplish? Lastly, growing a brand takes consistency and daily effort. Do you enjoy the grind? Hopefully, that answer is yes.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

Seabiscuit: An American Legend by Laura Hillenbrand.

The book tells the story of a once neurotic, pathologically indolent horse who transforms into an an American sports icon all because a single man saw something in the horse and decided to give him a chance.

Seeing good in others, giving opportunity and consistent, diligent practice were all in the making of my favorite racehorse.
