Robert, thank you so much for making time for us. We’ve always admired your ability to take risks and so maybe we can kick things off with a discussion around how you developed your ability to take and bear risk?

One of my strongest attributes is my willingness to take risks. While it hasn’t always worked in my favor, overall, it has been a key driver of my success. My love for taking risks began early in life, during my theater acting days. I still remember the butterflies in my stomach just before stepping on stage. That feeling—so closely tied to fear—became something I learned to harness and transform into excitement, channeling it into a burst of effective energy.

This mindset has taught me that stepping out of my comfort zone can lead to some of life’s most rewarding moments. Whether it was saying yes to skydiving in D.C.—jumping out of a plane with a stranger I had met just 30 minutes earlier—or accepting a low-paying social media job that offered $50 a day but ultimately paved the way for my success as an influencer, I’ve learned that taking risks can be one of the most powerful tools in anyone’s arsenal. It’s not just about the leap; it’s about embracing the growth and opportunities that come with it.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

In 2025, I’m thrilled to dive deeper into my StoryWeave channel. This platform is dedicated to exploring captivating stories that shape our everyday lives—whether they’re ancient legends or current political events. We’ll focus on any story that has the power to “wow” or inform our audience. While I’ll continue working as a digital consultant for major tech companies, my goal is to make StoryWeave my primary focus in the coming year.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back on my journey, three key qualities have had the most profound impact: creative vision, adaptability, and relationship-building. My ability to ideate and execute compelling, thumb-stopping content has been the foundation of my success, whether it’s growing my TikTok following to 520k in a year or driving millions of views for Fortune 500 brands. Staying adaptable to evolving trends has kept me ahead in a constantly shifting digital landscape, allowing me to understand what resonates with audiences and pivot strategies as needed. Equally important has been my knack for building relationships, which has opened doors to collaborations and fostered trust with clients and creators alike. For those early in their journey, my advice is simple: embrace the process. Invest time in developing your craft, stay curious and informed about industry shifts, and, most importantly, build genuine connections with those around you. Success comes from blending passion with persistence, and every step forward is a building block for the next big breakthrough.

Two books that have profoundly shaped my development are *How to Win Friends and Influence People* by Dale Carnegie and Tony Robbins’ *Unleash the Power Within*. Carnegie taught me the art of genuine connection—how listening, empathy, and sincere interest can transform relationships and open doors. His timeless principles reminded me that success is built on the foundation of human connection. On the other hand, Robbins’ work was a catalyst for self-belief and action. *Unleash the Power Within* challenged me to rewrite my inner narrative, replace self-doubt with certainty, and adopt a mindset where obstacles became opportunities. Together, these books armed me with the tools to connect with others authentically and harness my own potential, a powerful combination that has been instrumental in both my personal and professional journey.
