Meet Robert Parker

We recently connected with Robert Parker and have shared our conversation below.

Robert, thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
I’ve learned throughout my Journey to be that One in the room you must be Yourself First and Foremost. Once you’re comfy with being yourself you can be comfortable in the presence of anyone. The other part is knowing your skill sets and knowing information about what it is you do or are doing. Being knowledgeable on what industry you’re in, being knowledgeable about what you represent, and being knowledgeable enough to Walk in Confidence. Read the Room and Recognize where your Stronger skills and flourish or where those not so strong skills can allow you to adapt

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am also a Radio Host and Radio Personality. I’ve chosen to be the caliber of Host that will tackle any Topic because I believe bringing awareness to certain things allows us an opportunity to accept them or not and move forward. Often things that could Inspire or Motivate someone else is simply in the word context from another and that’s something special to me, so Many people all over the world have similar interests and dislikes and similar trials and tribulations speaking about them on a wide scale gives people a sense that’s others out there care or feel mutually as strong. Often a Voice to some is just a Voice and then there are People out there that Certain Voices bring hope, awareness, life, power, opportunity, and a chance to Learn. I’ve chosen to be those kinds of Voices.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The ability to learn, The ability to apply what I’ve learned, and the determination to be ok with consistent failure. In everything you do you have to keep feeding your mind with knowledge and information that aligns you with what you are after. Alignment is very important everything you do every move you make has to be in Alignment with the goal you’re trying to reach staying within that’s allow you to keep moving forward vs stagnation. Set small goals that are reachable but also require more effort each time to keep yourself achieving and believing in your Abilities. If it’s truly something you want be prepared to give it all you got as much as it takes to make it happen, always pick yourself up and move forward.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
Some the most impactful things were the teaching, My Mother and Father are both Very Smart Knowledgeable Parents and Grandparents. They’ve shown me the Humbleness of giving and truly giving from the heart because that’s what was placed on your heart and nothing further. I’ve watched my Mom work in the medical industry from the bottom to the top and never giving up never backing down and always staying filled with knowledge and information, I seen my Mother in constant prayer and meditation and Never stop succeeding professionally and in her life. My Father has shown me countless times strength, setting a goal and reaching that goal before heading to the next, He shown me to do legit business in everything I do be honest and be open about myself and the business I conduct. He taught me to be tough and in whatever I decided to do be the best at it that I could be not the next person but the best I could be and that would be me giving it all I could. Both of them together have shown me the tools to Overcome, Understand, And Succeed while never losing a heart to assist someone in need or to just do the Actions needed.
