Meet Robert Parker

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Robert Parker a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Robert , thrilled to have you on the platform as I think our readers can really benefit from your insights and experiences. In particular, we’d love to hear about how you think about burnout, avoiding or overcoming burnout, etc.
I’m a Outdoors person so being outside doing things like Fishing, Bonfires, Hunting, Land work all seems to give me a refresher and a time to unwind and get all my thoughts together. When outside isn’t the option I make sure to find me a place to myself to concentrate and focus on just enjoying the time and enjoying the vibes.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
We’ve recently started a Nonprofit Organization called the Famo Nation 30. Our first goal was to give back free meals to the kids and adults in our community. We came together and went to 3 different Locations door to door and we were able to get on the streets of our Community and Give Back. Famo Nation 30 Purchases all food ingredients, prepares all food for meals, and we also pass all meals made out free to the Community. We will go Knock on each Door if that’s what it takes for us to assist and help brin a meal to those who could value it.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Reading, Researching, Asking

I’ve always had a hunger for reading and learning about the things I have a passion for, invested in, or has caught my curiosity.
My Mother taught me the importance of Reading and it never departed from me mother’s know best right, Researching to find better more effective ways to accomplish my goals or to reach new Levels of my journey is something that I couldn’t do without, Being able to stay mentally updated with what I’m trying to accomplish with the understanding of what it takes to actually accomplish that goal has been a very big key for me and our team. Asking, asking questions from other like-minded individuals, those who have the more experience then myself, and those who are currently in similar interests im in. I’ve found that asking questions sometimes is hard for some but can be the big piece of information you’re missing out on, asking a question can give you insight and wisdom. You shouldn’t fear asking questions to gain knowledge

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
