Meet Roberto Nieves

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Roberto Nieves. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Roberto, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
Well, let me share a personal story with you. Despite my current image of being a comfortable and outgoing individual, it hasn’t always been this way. Growing up, I faced both a learning disability and a speech disability. I was that kid who struggled with stuttering, finding it difficult to even sound out a complete word. People would stare and make fun of me, and even adults didn’t always exhibit the patience I needed, which was evident from their expressions of frustration.

During those challenging times, my younger brother became my savior. He would speak for me wherever we went. Consequently, I became withdrawn and distanced myself from others. Although people labeled me as shy, deep down, I knew I was actually quite outgoing. However, my disabilities seemed to dominate my life, overshadowing my true personality.

Fortunately, I spent years in speech therapy, which helped me learn how to hold meaningful conversations. But by the time I felt more confident, I believed the damage had already been done. As I ventured into the world and started forming connections, I gradually revealed the real me—the vibrant, fun-loving side that had been hidden for so long. It was through these experiences that I discovered my resilience and learned to embrace my authentic self.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m not just any run-of-the-mill Brand Strategist and Website Designer. Sure, some folks might think it’s all about picking colors and slapping on a logo, but trust me, there’s way more to it than meets the eye!

As a Brand Strategist and Web Designer, I dive deep into the nitty-gritty of building a brand. I help entrepreneurs find their true voice and bring it to life through their brands. It’s like being a superhero for businesses, unleashing their unique identity and giving them the power to stand out from the crowd.

Since I never had that voice of my own growing up due to my speech disability, I’ve finally found it, and I want nothing more than to help others use their voices to shine and succeed in life. It’s my personal mission to empower fellow entrepreneurs and watch them thrive.

Stay tuned for our upcoming events, client launches, business tips, and maybe even a little expansion on the horizon. I’m constantly cooking up new ideas and innovations to take your brand to the next level. So keep your eyes peeled and be ready to join me on this thrilling journey!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. Creativity: Embrace your unique creative abilities and let them shine in your work. The world of branding and website design thrives on fresh ideas and innovative approaches. Nurture your creativity by exploring different art forms, seeking inspiration from various sources, and challenging yourself to think outside the box. Don’t be afraid to take risks and experiment with new design concepts. Remember, creativity is a muscle that strengthens with practice, so keep honing your skills and never stop exploring your creative potential.

2. Empathy: One of the most valuable skills in the realm of branding and website design is the ability to understand and empathize with your target audience. Put yourself in their shoes and truly grasp their needs, desires, and pain points. This will enable you to create brands and websites that deeply resonate with your ideal clients. Developing empathy allows you to tailor your designs and messages in a way that speaks directly to your audience, forging authentic connections that build trust and loyalty.

3. Continuous Learning: The world of business is ever-evolving, so staying ahead of the latest trends, techniques, and tools is crucial. Embrace a growth mindset and commit yourself to lifelong learning. Engage in industry communities, attend workshops, read books, and follow thought leaders in the field. Seek feedback and constructive criticism to push yourself further. Stay curious, adapt to changes, and be willing to embrace new technologies and design methodologies. The more you invest in your learning journey, the more you’ll be able to offer value and stay ahead of the game.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely! I’m always on the lookout for amazing individuals to partner or collaborate with. If you’re an entrepreneur who is as driven and passionate as I am, and you share a desire to empower others to succeed in business, then we could make a fantastic team!

I’m open to collaborating on various platforms, whether it’s speaking engagements, IG Live sessions, workshops, or even joint projects. If you have an idea or a project in mind that aligns with our shared mission, I’d love to hear about it and explore the possibilities.

Let’s join forces, combine our expertise, and create something truly impactful together.
