Meet Robin Bragg

We recently connected with Robin Bragg and have shared our conversation below.

Robin, thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?

I have learned to be effective by mastering self identity. I know who I am, I stand confidently on my identity, feelings, thoughts, and I do not change for others, nor do I allow the pressure of situations to penetrate my aura. I do not aspire to be anyone except myself. I love being uniquely me.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am Nigerian and grew up in a small town in Mississippi. I am passionate about providing holistic care. I own Vibrations Beyond Earth, a holistic store where I have over 300 herbs, powders, smokables, and tea blends. If we don’t have your blend already made or there’s an herb/s included you don’t like or want to add, I can customize the blend for you. I also perform spiritual services from a kemetic approach such as hypnosis, microdosed ayahuasca and cacoa ceremonies, sound baths, hapeh ceremonies, reikis, ancestral journey assistance, mentorship, spiritual coaching, trauma releasing, baby dedications, annual retreats. I also offer one on one certifications in many of these services. What excites me most is seeing others positively evolve. I love helping others overcome physical and spiritual obstacles to become the best version of themselves.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

My commitment to my client’s healing journey, my ancestral background, and my ego less approach are key to my success. Remember, there can only be one you. You must take your eyes off of others and let your journey be your own. Don’t be discouraged at slow and small beginnings. Develop a vision, mission, and goal/s and follow the plan. If you are starting any type of business that involves assisting others spiritually, make sure you have mastered self identity, conduct daily self evaluations, don’t let any move you make be about money. If you choose this path because you think you will make plenty of money, you will turn down people who need help but don’t have the funds to purchase what they need. Be authentic and genuine.

What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?

Go all in on strengthening your weaknesses while you have time to address the areas of weakness. An opportunity might present itself that you aren’t qualified for but you should be qualified for. That situation is preventable. There is no room for procrastination in entrepreneurship. When you choose to work on your weaknesses you will find your creativity, confidence, and production increasing. That will strengthen your self identity.
