We were lucky to catch up with Robin De Lano recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Robin , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
As an intuitive Tarot Card reader, let me spill the psychic tea—it’s all about practice, and not being afraid to be wrong. I’ve racked up thousands of readings over the years, but here’s the real scoop: it’s not just about the cards; it’s about trusting the cosmic download and, most importantly, trusting yourself.
The magic happened when I started leaning into that trust.. Now, you might be wondering, how does one trust themselves? Well, cue the trial and error, my friend. I threw myself into the rings of the best psychic circles honing my intuition, and being open to new techniques of reading and ‘seeing’ information. I also hired an amazing mentor who gently used me to get clearer information and more accuracy.
When the information flowing through me began helping my clients really find clarity, I knew I was onto something. That, my friend, was the confidence booster for my Tarot reading skills. It’s like finding your groove on a cosmic dance floor—you just know when you’re in sync with the universe.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am an intuitive Tarot Card Reader. Which means I know the literal meanings of the Tarot Cards, but use them more as a tool to guide my intuition and clairvoyance to provide clarity around any questions my clients may have.
I love being a card reader and intuitive because I never tell my clients what to do, instead I guide them to make the best and highest decision for themselves.
No reading is ever the same. Sometimes I can pick up on your spirit guides, and angels, and other times I can see all the different choices you are going to make, which way you may go, and which decision may be better for the growth of your soul.
No two readings are ever the same, and that’s why I love the cards, because sometimes I can present an option for a client that they have never heard of, or bring healing to a past decision or relationship.
As far as new happenings I’m looking forward to getting back to my regular readings and helping them solidify their goals for the coming year. I’ve also been looking into designing my own tarot deck and also collaborating with a designer friend of mine on chakra inspired clothing designs!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I’d say the three qualities that most helped me on my journey is understanding that one, no one is 100% accurate. Even the best intuitive and psychics make mistakes. Number two, is that your people/clients/audience will eventually find you, if you have clients leave you, let them.. If you have someone who wants a refund, just give it to them. You will attract who needs to find you and the messages. The third is always find yourself a really great support system. Whether it’s friends or family…a group that will always be on your team.
My advice to people who are starting on their new journey, in any business or skill is to not give up! That old saying of following your heart is so true. Life is too short to not have fun, and do what you love. Follow your heart and spirit will find a way to bring it to you!
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
My ideal client is someone with an open mind and an open heart. Also someone who is curious about my style and what messages I may bring to them. I also love clients who are able to take what they need from the reading. They may not agree with everything I say or predict, but they are able to extract the best nuggets of guidance for themselves at the time.
