We recently connected with Rochdi Elhafiane and have shared our conversation below.
Rochdi, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Developing my confidence and self-esteem has been a journey shaped by experience and self-discovery. Early on, I faced self-doubt, especially in the creative world, where it’s easy to compare yourself to others. But as I grew, I realized that confidence comes from embracing who you are and valuing your unique perspective. My travels, interactions with diverse people, and immersion in different cultures taught me to see my individuality as a strength. Each project and every piece I create reinforce this belief, building my self-assurance. Now, I approach my work and life with the conviction that my voice and vision are worth sharing.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m thrilled to share the essence of what I do. Through my brand, I create fashion pieces that go beyond mere clothing—they’re expressions of art and storytelling. Every design is inspired by my experiences and the people I encounter, bringing together elements of my Moroccan heritage and a sense of individuality. This blend of cultures and creativity is what makes my work unique and exciting.
In addition to fashion, I also create painting art inspired by the faces I meet daily and the stories that emerge from my imagination. Each painting is an opportunity to capture the narratives and characters that inspire me, adding another layer to my artistic expression.
Looking forward, I’m excited about upcoming events and new launches that will bring fresh perspectives to my collections, both in fashion and art. I’m continuously exploring new ways to connect with people who value individuality and artistic craftsmanship. If you’re curious about upcoming pieces or want to dive into the stories behind each creation, stay tuned for what’s next!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Resilience helps you bounce back from setbacks and view failures as learning opportunities. Adaptability allows you to embrace change and stay relevant in your field. Lastly, a commitment to continuous learning keeps your skills sharp and ideas fresh.
For those starting out, focus on building resilience by reframing challenges as growth opportunities, stay open to new ideas, and prioritize learning through networking and reflection. These qualities will lay a strong foundation for your creative journey.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
My mom has been the most helpful person in my journey. She always believed in me and my vision, providing unwavering support during challenging times. Her encouragement has been invaluable in building my confidence and resilience. Whenever I faced obstacles, she reminded me of my purpose and potential, helping me develop the essential skills and qualities needed for success. Her faith in my abilities has inspired me to keep pushing forward and pursue my passions wholeheartedly.
