Meet Rodi Bragg

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rodi Bragg. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rodi below.

Rodi, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

After giving birth to my daughter, and the immediate postpartum haze started to lift, I gained greater clarity about my purpose. My purpose is to do whats best for her, and her future. Which has meant devoting myself again to my business, to have success for our family. My purpose is to be both a mother and an example to my child.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a holistic esthetician, and skincare formulator. I started making skincare in 2012 after suffering from an assault and third degree burn. I turned my literal scars into a canvas for making skincare that nourishes and heals inner and outer wounds. Making natural skincare inspired me to become an esthetician, and help others with their skincare concerns. Being a facialist and a formulator has given me the gift of helping others with both my hands and my creations. What could have been a dark, stagnant traumatic event that left me stuck in life became alchemized and transformed thanks to self care and the natural skincare I started making in my kitchen apartment.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Tenacity, patience and trust. I never give up on something I want and know is meant for me. Know your why. Trust the process. Trust there will be challenges. Have the patience to see it through. Believe in yourself even if no one else believes in you.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am open to building community and inspiring others to give back, whether that be through sharing products and services, teaching classes, doing events, etc. I am also inspired to help other new moms and those who have been effected by the LA wildfires.
