Roman, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My work ethic comes from a deep passion for what I do and a commitment to excellence. Growing up, I was inspired by the hard work and dedication of those around me, especially my family and mentors. They instilled in me the importance of perseverance, integrity, and always striving to do my best. As the co-founder of Cosmic Eye Iris Photo, I believe that maintaining a strong work ethic is crucial to delivering high-quality work and building a successful business.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

We are the Cosmic Eye team, proud to be the first Iris Photography studio in the USA, and we are thrilled to share our story with you. Founded in 2021 by Anna Chernegova, Daria Buriakova, and Roman Gorianskii, our fascination with the hidden beauty within our eyes has taken us on an incredible journey.

With over 10,000 eyes photographed and counting, our passion project has transformed into a captivating exploration of the unique patterns and beauty found in every individual’s eyes. It all started with capturing the eyes of our friends and the enthusiastic response we received at the Rose Bowl market in LA. This overwhelming interest inspired us to dream bigger.

Now, three years later, we are proud to have established studios in three major cities across the USA: Hollywood in Los Angeles, the iconic Chelsea Market in New York City, and the scenic Fishing Wharfs Area of San Francisco. Throughout this journey, we have continually refined and evolved our setup to ensure the highest quality and resolution in our photographs.

At Cosmic Eye, we believe that every pair of eyes is beautiful and unique. Our mission is to capture this uniqueness by photographing multiple eyes and creating memorable art that can be preserved digitally or showcased through various prints such as acrylic, metal, jewelry, phone cases, and more.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Collaborating with others has been instrumental in our success. We were fortunate to come together as a team, and I believe that our partnership is one of the main reasons behind the success of Cosmic Eye Iris Photo.

Each of us brought unique skills and perspectives to the table, which played a crucial role in establishing, growing, and sustaining our business. Daria’s creative vision and artistic flair have been essential in capturing the beauty and uniqueness of each iris. Anna’s expertise in marketing and business strategy has been invaluable in promoting our brand and reaching a wider audience. My background in technology and operations has helped us develop and maintain the high-quality standards of our photography and streamline our processes.

By combining our diverse skill sets, we have been able to overcome challenges, innovate, and continuously improve our offerings. This synergy has not only strengthened our business but also enriched our personal and professional growth. Working together has shown us the true power of collaboration and how it can lead to remarkable achievements.

In essence, our collective efforts and complementary talents have been the foundation of Cosmic Eye Iris Photo’s success. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with such dedicated and talented individuals and look forward to continuing our journey together.
