Resilience, for me, is about continuously pushing boundaries and embracing change. It’s about drawing inspiration from diverse sources and applying that inspiration in innovative ways. The move to Los Angeles has been a catalyst for growth, allowing me to explore new artistic horizons and deepen my connection with my craft. My ability to adapt, persist, and stay passionate about my work is what fuels my resilience and drives me to create meaningful and impactful portraits.

I’m thrilled to share more about my journey and current focus as a portrait photographer. Over the past two decades, I have dedicated myself to capturing the essence of many of the world’s most recognized faces, from Hollywood legends to political figures and members of the British Army. My recent relocation to Los Angeles has opened up new and exciting opportunities for my work.
What I Do
As a portrait photographer, I specialize in creating distinctive headshots and portraits that convey the true essence of my subjects. My style is heavily influenced by Renaissance Italian art, drawing inspiration from the Old Masters like Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Titian, and Ribera. This influence is evident in my use of light and shadow to create images that are both natural and thought-provoking.

Connection with Subjects: Building a genuine connection with the people I photograph has been essential. This skill has helped me capture authentic and compelling portraits. Understanding and empathizing with my subjects enables me to bring out their true essence in my work.
Artistic Vision and Adaptability: Drawing inspiration from Renaissance art and continuously evolving my style has kept my work fresh and impactful.
