Meet Russelle Avionn

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Russelle Avionn a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Russelle, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose through experience, not theory.

I started in the automotive industry back in 2018. Like a lot of people, I came in just looking for an opportunity to make a living. But once I got on the sales floor, I started seeing the process from the inside. I saw how confusing car buying could be for everyday people. I saw how many customers felt pressured, misinformed, or just overwhelmed by the process. Some would walk in excited about getting a new vehicle and leave stressed, frustrated, or second-guessing their decision.

At the same time, I realized something about myself. I genuinely enjoyed helping people make smarter decisions. When I took the time to explain numbers, compare options, or guide someone to a better choice, the entire experience changed for them. They felt more confident, more comfortable, and more in control. That shift in their energy stuck with me.

Over time, I started to realize that the industry didn’t really have someone fully on the buyer’s side. There were dealers, lenders, and salespeople, but not many people whose only job was to advocate for the customer. That idea kept coming back to me. What if there was a company that acted as a guide through the process? A human version of the research sites people already use, but with real support, real advice, and real accountability.

That’s what led me to start Avionn Automotive.

It wasn’t just about selling cars. It was about changing the experience. I wanted to build a company where the focus was simple: Client-First. Always. A place where people could talk to a real person who was on their side, helping them navigate options, negotiate smarter, and avoid costly mistakes.

My purpose really became clear the first time I saw how much relief and confidence a client felt after going through the process with us. They weren’t just buying a car. They were making a major financial decision with clarity and support. That’s when I knew this wasn’t just a business idea. It was something I was meant to build.

Today, everything I do still revolves around that same mission: helping people buy smarter, feel more confident, and have someone in their corner during one of the biggest purchases of their lives.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m the founder of Avionn Automotive, a nationwide vehicle purchase consulting firm built around a simple idea: the car-buying process should feel smarter, clearer, and more client-focused.

I started the company after years in the automotive sales industry, where I saw how overwhelming the process could be for everyday buyers. Between pricing, financing, trade-ins, and negotiations, many people felt like they were navigating one of the biggest purchases of their lives without a real advocate. That experience inspired me to build a company that acts as a guide for the client, not the dealership.

At Avionn Automotive, we work directly with clients to help them research, compare options, negotiate deals, and move through the process with confidence. In many ways, we position ourselves as the human version of the car research sites people already use, except we’re there to actually help them make decisions and avoid costly mistakes.

What excites me most is seeing the shift in how clients feel after working with us. They go from uncertainty and stress to clarity and confidence. That transformation is the heart of what we do.

Right now, we’re focused on expanding our national footprint, building a remote team of client advisors, and increasing brand awareness through digital campaigns and partnerships. Our goal is to make Avionn Automotive a household name for anyone who wants a smarter, more client-first vehicle buying experience.

Everything we do is guided by one core principle: Client-First. Always.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three qualities have had the biggest impact on my journey: resilience, communication, and initiative.

The first is resilience. In both the automotive industry and entrepreneurship, there are highs and lows. You can have a great month and then a quiet one right after. Deals fall through, plans change, and sometimes you have to rebuild momentum from scratch. I’ve learned that success isn’t about avoiding those moments, it’s about how quickly you reset and keep moving forward. My advice to anyone early in their journey is simple: don’t let one bad day, week, or month define your direction. Stay consistent and keep showing up.

The second is communication. A lot of business comes down to how well you listen and how clearly you explain things. In the car industry, customers are often overwhelmed with information. When you take the time to break things down and guide them instead of pushing them, it builds trust. That trust is what turns one transaction into long-term relationships and referrals. For anyone starting out, focus less on trying to sound impressive and more on being clear, honest, and helpful.

The third is initiative. No one is going to build your future for you. Some of my biggest opportunities came from taking action before I felt fully ready, whether that was starting a new business, reaching out to potential partners, or trying a new marketing approach. Waiting for perfect timing usually means waiting forever. If you have an idea or a goal, start where you are and adjust along the way.

Those three qualities, resilience, communication, and initiative, have shaped both my career and the way I built Avionn Automotive. They’re also the same qualities I look for in the people who join our team.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes, I’m always open to connecting with the right partners, especially people and organizations that align with our mission of making the car-buying process more transparent and client-focused.

At Avionn Automotive, we work closely with clients during one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives, so the partnerships that matter most to us are the ones that help us deliver more value and confidence to those clients. That includes credit unions, lenders, warranty providers, media platforms, and industry professionals who believe in putting the customer first.

We’re in a growth phase, so I’m always open to conversations with driven professionals and strategic partners who want to be part of a brand that’s reshaping how people approach vehicle purchases.

Beyond the automotive space, I enjoy collaborating with entrepreneurs, content creators, and platforms that are passionate about storytelling, education, and helping people make smarter decisions. A lot of growth comes from the right conversations and relationships, so I stay open to those opportunities.

Anyone who resonates with our mission or is interested in working together can connect with us through the Avionn Automotive website or our social platforms. We’re building something long-term, and we’re always excited to meet people who want to be part of that journey.
