Meet Ryan Correll

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ryan Correll . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Ryan , so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?
I’ve learned that sometimes the path less traveled may reap more dividends in the end. Being able to control wind or manipulate weather can be relatively stressful especially when the ability is pushed to its limits. You must remain calm and careful..

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Well, firstly I would like to thank God and Bold Mag for taking the time to interview me. I am a dancer and Influencer on social media. Me being my own brand I promote things that money buy. This could be that one’s song that brings you back to your childhood or a laugh that will put you on the floor. These are things that my viewers crave to see. I soon will be releasing merchandise such as T-shirts, Jackets things of that sort. I cannot wait keep building and see where God leads me next.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I would say three qualities that I could pass on would be Consistency, Resilience and Discipline. The only advice I would give to someone new in Content Creation would be to always look for ways to diversify what you do. Find that thing that makes your audience jaws drop. Once you find that keep pressing on the mark.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
I guess be a wielder of such a powerful spiritual gift has its ups and down. Mine would be controlling its power and intensity. When I first discovered my gift I saw the magnitude of its impact and how it could affect others. Then I remembered… “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility!”
