Meet Ryceam Scott

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ryceam Scott. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ryceam below.

Ryceam, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I developed my confidence and self esteem by simply Believing in myself, and my abilities and ideas. Understanding and accepting yourself for who you are. I’ve learned that people may not always agree with you, and that’s is okay not everyone possess the same talents.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My vision for LUXE EVENTS is to be a one-stop shop for clients, where we handle the logistics, financials, planning and execution of the event while you do nothing but simply ENJOY YOURSELF. My passion for weddings, creative spirit, undivided attention for you, and open and affirming attitude sets LUXE EVENTS apart from other party planning companies. I bring a fresh perspective to event design and work with your budget and ideas to create an extraordinary event with contemporary style and elegance.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three skills that I think were most impactful in my journey include

Initiative
Analytical, quantitative
Leadership

Early in my journey I learned that exemplifying these skills were crucial to taking my brand to the next level. It will take time but” there is light at the end of every tunnel” .

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
When I was a sophomore in high school, one of my professors gave me a book called The Pact by Sampson David. This book played a major role in a lot of the decisions I made while enrolled and after school.

A quote that stuck with me from this book include

“Sometimes you gotta fail in order to Succeed”
