Meet Rylan Oz

We were lucky to catch up with Rylan Oz recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Rylan, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?

Fundumentally making sure i eat, sleep, and stay healthy. For my own self care, I have to journal and take notes about things i notice in myself, feelings, habits, beliefs, etc. Understanding my mind is a key to self control. reading, exercise, creative activities, and skating. these are somethings i do through my week to care for myself.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I create music that stretches the boundries of genre. my focus is on my message and my energy on the record, my sound is subject to those things. the power of music has always been apparent to me, I saw an empty space in music and filled it with something i felt it needed.
I am working on building my brand now, this year will be revolutionary for my art because of it. My newest content will be called “For Lease”. a collab project with Mark The Dark releasing march, 21st, 2025.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Its hard to pick a top three because much more knowledge has been relevent but if i had to shine a light on 3 they’d be – communication, awareness, and love. these are things that others can help with but utimately only oneself can do/learn.

To those in an early part of this journey, i suggest you educate yourself through books, teachers, and experience.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
