Meet Sabrina Rollo

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sabrina Rollo. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sabrina below.

Sabrina, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
I feel like so many people don’t consider themselves creative because they aren’t “artsy” but I disagree. Creativity, to me, is using your imagination — simple as that! There are so many ways to be creative! Yes, you can be a talented painter or crafter but creativity can also be found in so many subtle places — whether its the way you dress, the meals you make for yourself or family, even the way you decorate your home.

While its true that life can get monotonous (insert limiting situation here) — I have found that keeping creativity alive is like keeping the flame within burning bright. Earlier this year I felt myself creeping into the murky waters of boredom and unfulfillment and the heavy symptoms that come with these feelings. I realized I was in a creative slump and I needed to shake it. My background (and forever passion) is in dance so when a friend invited me to a class in LA, I didn’t hesitate. Not only did I fall in love with the class, but I felt this rush of pure energy come through me — remembering what it feels like to move my body, to express a language I can’t say with words, to feel creative and full and curious! It sparked in me the desire to find that creative feeling everyday, not just out on the dance floor.

I’ve been shifting my perspective. I’ve been making space to dance + craft, finding creativity in the obvious places. But I’ve also been finding *magic* in the mundane. Keeping the inner flame glowing by using my imagination in subtle places — noticing the blooming flowers or the clouds when I’m out hiking with my dog, putting together an outfit instead of falling into the convenience of leggings, exploring my town like a tourist, using my instagram as a creative outlet rather than a highlight reel. Allowing myself to feel like an artist, a creative, invites me to see anything as a creative opportunity which makes everything at least a bit more interesting + fun!

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals on transformative journeys towards holistic well-being. As an integrative wellness practitioner, my mission is to guide others towards greater energetic and emotional balance, helping them connect with their intuition and unlock their innate potential for healing and self-discovery.

My approach to wellness is rooted in a lifelong connection to the art of movement through dance, where I initially uncovered the deep synergy between mind, body, and spirit. Through years of training and performance, I developed a keen sensitivity to the power of movement, breath + self-connection. Building on this foundation, I’ve cultivated a unique approach to wellness that integrates my passions of movement, breathwork, emotional connection, and energy healing.

Becoming a mother of two further deepened my understanding of the importance of self-care and nurturing. It inspired me to explore various healing modalities, seeking tools to support myself and others through life’s challenges.

What sets my approach apart is its deeply personal and integrative nature. Each modality I offer is grounded in my own experiences of growth and healing. I have walked the path of transformation myself + continue to overcome limiting beliefs and reclaim my inner power. By combining ancient wisdom with modern techniques, I offer a toolkit for holistic healing and self-empowerment. Whether it’s guiding a client through a deeply restorative yoga session, facilitating a transformative hypnotherapy session, or harnessing the healing vibrations of sound, each modality serves as a gateway to greater self-awareness and inner peace.

What excites me most about this work is witnessing the profound transformations that unfold within my clients. From releasing emotional trauma to rediscovering joy and vitality, every session is an opportunity for profound self-discovery, growth and healing.

Vigor + Sage is not just a collection of services— it’s about creating a space and fostering a community where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to step into their fullest potential.

I am grateful to work with clients both individually and in groups, offering sessions both in person and virtually. My clientele includes private individuals as well as corporate clients. I look forward to co-hosting my first international retreat in Paris this summer. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think the some of the most impactful skills I have learned on my journey are: 1. be okay with making mistakes. you’re not going to get it right on the first try, or even the second.. just start. then keep going. you won’t get anywhere if you don’t take the first step.

2. this is your journey, your work, your timeline — release comparison.

3. create habits in your life that facilitate your growth, you can’t rely on motivation.

My best advice, especially early on in your journey — you only have to take the next step. you don’t need to see the whole path laid out for you, just one step at a time is a great approach.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I love collaborating with others! I’m open to collaborating with other wellness practitioners, movement specialists, therapists, artists, photographers, musicians, book clubs, small businesses/ corporations wanting to bring wellness into the workplace — anything I missed? Email me or DM on instagram with an idea, I’d love to hear it.
