We were lucky to catch up with Sabrina Von Stock recently and have shared our conversation below.
Sabrina , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I believe I got my resilience from my mother, Priscilla. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her and feel her presence around me. She always encouraged me to step out boldly even when I was deathly afraid. I had terrible self confidence issue’s growing up, and secretly she did too, but you would never see it in her. When I was a little girl, I would see and feel “spirit” she would never discourage me about my findings, she would listen to me. In a way she was protecting me. Because in rural Nebraska in the 70’s nobody knew of mediumship or anything different from church teaching.
I didn’t have the ideal childhood, my parents divorced when I was 10. We had to move from Nebraska to Illinois, where my mother was from and start a new life. Talk about being misunderstood! My new life proved to be hard, I was often bullied for my strange Nebraska twang and being extremely empathetic.
But mom encouraged me to just “ignore” the mean girls. She would pray over me and my sister every morning. And I believe those prayers she prayed over us, still avail today.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I have an unique set of gifts that brings healing on a deep spiritual level. My mediumship (connecting with spirit) and psychic abilities has given me the opportunity to help people on a level that brings enlightenment and healing.
Clients that never got to say goodbye to a pass on loved one, can get that closure they’re looking for.
Being psychic can help navigate and give answers to clients that need insight to life’s challenging questions.
Energy healing is a great way to remove energetic blockages that can affect areas in life, such as, love, abundance or mindsets that don’t serve the client.
I create a safe space that allows a non judgmental and inclusive environment for healing and transformation.
Recently I have joined a group of four other healers. We get together the second Saturday of every month and invite clients to join us on a Zoom link for an hour healing session. All the clients have to do is connect to our Zoom space and lie down on a yoga mat or bed and close your eyes and we work remotely. You don’t have to share what going on if you don’t feel like it. I love this group because we all understand how important it is to feel safe.
So I encourage anyone to join us!
Also, I’m part of psychic fair online. We meet every other month. And this month, June, we will be getting together for readings. Also done on Zoom, so you don’t have to leave your house and it is very private.
And of course, I’m available for private readings on Zoom. My readings are a combination of psychic/mediumship and energy healing. You can book through my website: www.sabrinapsychicmedium.com
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I believe that meditation and prayer are the foundation to developing a deep understanding and connection to the Divine. Listening and patience are also essential to developing a rich inner life.
If you can just start with ten minutes a day sitting with your eyes closed, lying down or in a chair (feet on the floor) I guarantee it will make profound changes in your everyday life. Start with small steps, reduce your time on the phone and play some relaxing music and connect with your higher self.
Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
From personal experience, I have had to navigate through moments of feeling overwhelmed and depressed. I’ve always been extremely sensitive since I was a girl. I realize that my innate sensitivity is a superpower. But I still get the blues, even this morning I woke up feeling wonky. How do I change that feeling? Well I pray, I connect with God. This is my way, of dealing with my anxiety, is connecting with the Divine.
I know that not everyone believes in God. But I believe it’s a “higher source” that is essential to connecting with your higher self. And when I say “higher self” that is your eternal spirit your are connecting with. I also believe we are assigned angels. These angelic beings cannot help you, unless you ask for help from them. They’re help is subtle and powerful.
Know that you are not alone, they’re are powerful allies is the spiritual realm.
