Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sacia Ashe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Sacia, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
I inherited my resilience from a family of starving artists—dreamers who refused to trade passion for a paycheck. My grandmother’s story is etched in my mind: from sharing a single boiled egg on a dusty curb in Taiwan to dancing under the bright lights of a NYC stage with Martha Graham herself. She proved that tenacity and bold action can turn the impossible into reality. Her journey, along with countless others in my family, forged an unshakable spirit in me—the kind that pushes forward when I’m tempted to retreat. Through the grit and the grind, I climb the hill of creative determination, knowing that just beyond it, the sun always rises.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’ve always been obsessed with the way art can shape perception, which has played out in my career as to how the right brand can turn a product into the product. That’s why I started my creative agency Ashe Design Haus, where we help mission-driven female founders in wellness, beauty, and lifestyle create brands that look gorgeous and help sell their products effortlessly.
What excites me most is seeing a founder’s vision—something they’ve dreamed about for months, sometimes years—become a reality. Branding goes beyond aesthetics; it’s about creating trust, desire, and a presence that makes their product the only choice.
Right now, I’m especially excited about our new brand and web design offerings for early-stage founders who need a strong brand and Shopify site without the full-service price tag. It’s something we built after working with so many self-funded product founders who needed a strategic, high-impact start.
Lately, the work has been especially creative, and watching these brands come to life is exactly why I do this.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three biggest factors in my journey as a creative and multi-time founder are tenacity, courage, and making decisions for my future self—not just what feels good right now.
For anyone early in their journey, the ability to pivot is everything. Holding on too tightly to how things should look will slow you down. Growth comes from adapting, not forcing something just for the sake of consistency.
Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The Bible, honestly. Finding Jesus 3 years ago truly changed the trajectory of my life and saved me from so many self-destructive behaviors. It guides my creative decisions, my business, and pushes me to standards I wouldn’t naturally hold for myself. The biggest nugget I’ve gotten from my faith is that our mistakes don’t define us (they’re human), what we do and how we act after making them do.
