Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Safari Foxe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Safari, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I don’t believe a purpose is to be found. I believe a purpose is realized because it’s something that had always been within us. We all have something within us that we live for. In order to realize your purpose, you have to become authentic in expression.
I was 28 when I realized my purpose. I started my body sculpting business in 2019, and it took off immediately. I realized that my purpose was to help others improve and transform into their best self and create a healthier body. It came natural to me and I believe that I’m successful because it’s my purpose.
I have many hobbies and things I enjoy, but when it came to health and body transformations, it is the only thing I can have a healthy obsession over. I realized it was my purpose when I looked back at my life and realized that the majority of my life, I was obsessed with trying new diets, health foods, exercising, and beauty technology. I started experimenting in middle school. I would experiment with foods and as I got older, I experimented with supplements like protein, vitamins/minerals, pre workouts, etc. I was able to transform my body over and over by learning myself.
When I started my business, it was a natural process that easily progressed. It really was another fun experiment for myself. I would use the machines on myself to transform my body. Others started to notice and pay me to service them. It became a huge success very fast!
Having a career within your purpose is life changing. People always ask about my work ethic and say I work so hard to build the business that I have because on the outside looking in, it seems like hard work. But truthfully, it feels like play. When you can obsess over your hobbies and turn it into a career, you will be successful for life.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am in the body sculpting business where I use technology to transform bodies non surgically. The business “Body by Safari” is a safe place to come in for body treatments and go over nutrition and exercise plans. The best thing about this job is meeting people and changing their lives by giving them confidence. Not only is this for physical transformation but it also helps transform their attitude and habits. Clients sometimes come in with sad stories and low confidence or self esteem and I talk to them, service them, and make sure they leave looking and feeling better than when they came in.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. Using your curiosity to further your knowledge will take you far. Don’t wait for others to teach you. Do your research and figure it out. Become the best at what you do by learning. 2. Work on yourself first before helping others. You need experience and you can’t pour from an empty cup.
3. Focus on the quality of your service and the clientele will come. Never go into business strictly for money. Become valuable, and you will attract everything.
Biggest advice I can give is hold that vision or dream and go after it fearlessly and ignore everyone’s judgment. If I let my family’s opinions dictate what I should do, I would not be as successful as I am today. My family didn’t believe in me or my business but now that I’m successful and taking care of them, they finally believe in me. The point is, you don’t need anyone to believe in you but yourself. Nobody knows the fire within you but you.
Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
An ideal client for me would be a client who understands that this is not an overnight thing and is willing to do their post care in order to see the best results. Most clients come in for one session thinking they’ll get plastic surgery results and they never have to take care of their results. Even plastic surgery clients have to maintain. Everyday we are growing and aging so we need to exercise and be mindful of our diets. An ideal client would change his/her lifestyle and be consistent with treatments, exercise and eat relatively healthy.
