Meet Sage Gable

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sage Gable. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Sage, so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?

Perception and Confidence. You only get one shot at making a first impression on people and having high energy and confidence in yourself is everything.

You also have to be a great question asker. Forcing yourself to ask questions and get out of your comfort zone can open a lot of doors.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Ever since I was a young boy, Ive had a passion for skyscrapers and a vision of developing one of the world’s most luxurious cities.

Aa 18 years old, a college dropout and no experience in the construction industry. I was able to network my way into getting a job as a project manager for a small home building company, learning how to manage and build homes.

At 19, I launched my own construction company that focused on residential remodeling for home owners. Through time and developed relationships, had an opportunity to partner up with Hugo Parra that is solely focused on concrete work.

I’m blessed to say that we have scaled our company as we have surpassed over 6-Figures and currently have 6 in-house employees in less than 2 months of being in business.

Our goal is to continue to grow and support our local community by donating to non profits as well as working alongside businesses and organizations. We are committed to providing clients with the best communication, service and product. We are the new kids on the block and people are starting to realize.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Not being afraid to get out there and try. If you want to be successful in anything you do, you must learn how to talk to people, sell and close the deal.

Learn everything about your business and become the shark. Become hungrier than everyone else, work harder, always show up and most importantly, pray.

God can put you in rooms with people that can change your entire life in an instant.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

Perseverance by Chuck Whittall. (Broke to Billions)

One of my favorite books I’ve read and a classic. Chuck writes an autobiography about his childhood and journey to building the empire he has today. Through adversity, building a very profitable company from nothing.

Never give up, trust yourself and take risks.
