Meet Sage Kent

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sage Kent a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Sage, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

My story is my name is Sage. First name Sage, Last name Kent. Full name Sage Nathaniel Lee-Kent. (With or without the hyphen) Also known as S.K. I am a Artist and my Artist name is S.K. EL JEFE. NARCO. ME. OZEGJI or OZEGJI. I was born on April 12, 1993 at Misericordia hospital on 54th and Cedar street in West Philadelphia (Also known as West Philly) I grew up 2 blocks from 54th & Osage on 54th & Delancey street. I spent most of my childhood in this area and also in Atlanta, Georgia. I spent most of my life in Philly, PA. and Atlanta, GA. I like to say Atlanta is my second home. I also spent time living in Los Angeles, California on 54th Street and also being homeless on skid row in downtown Los Angeles, California. I spent time in Compton, California on a spiritual journey all through Compton and Los Angeles. I got into being a Artist and recording music around the age of 12 from being introduced to the family member of a family friend that raised me. I am 31 years old. The last grade level of school I completed was 8th Grade. I was just recently released from State Prison. I was incarcerated for 5 years and given additional time also spending about 8 years all together of my life in Jail and Prison. I take my Art very seriously. I am a Artist. I admire all of the major record labels. I also enjoy High designer fashion labels, as well. I am very self disciplined. I love my craft and a lot of people believe in me. I believe in myself. It is my dream to get into the music industry and music business. I take my craft very seriously. I provide creative music and professional creativity content to my fans and supporters. My style and voice has been told to me on many occasions that is unique and I think that sets me apart from others. The main thing I am proud of is myself. I am exactly who I want to be and I am very secure, smart, strong, I am SAGE.

What I’m focused on professionally is being a professional Artist that profits from my Art and music and also other forms of income as well professionally and taking my profession very seriously. Im focused on professionally being a Mega-Superstar celebrity that impacts the world in a positive way and being influential in an inspirational way and being a Man of motivation for others to admire and look up to. Im also focusing on opening up a business to provide quality merchandise to my clients, fans, supporters, and customers. First and foremost I am focused on my Artistic Career. I feel I am very special and gifted and what I do is very special and gifted. I have new music released that I will be filming music videos for to be scheduled for release to the public for my fans and supporters in the next few days also. I am very thankful. I am very grateful. I am very appreciative. I look forward to expansion in the present and near future.
